There's a restaurant on site. Multilingual staff, tour/ticket assistance, and concierge services are also featured at the business-friendly May Beach Hotel. Free self parking is available.
Stayed 5 days, the price was right - thirty a nite. Pretty much you're getting what you pay for. Room is average size with view of the city although very close to the beach (so location is very good). Breakfast buffet is very good considering it's a budget hotel- kitchen staff seems lazy and jaded. A club across from the hotel can bother some with thumping bass at night.Wifi gets a 'medium' signal, which is good.
Firstly, all over Vietnam the lack of Vietnamese to English or English to Vietnamese is a problem.
I'm uncertain whether the manager understood his job, language, memory or whatever.
The staff were pleasant and helpful but he seemed to think that everything was OK with a smile, even after him trying to overcharge me and consequently missing my transport was OK once he provided a car.
Seriously.
He mailed me and apologised for trying to overcharge me but said he could understand me being angry.
A farce.
The area where Tolia is good as a base for daytime activities but useless for night time as you're literally surrounded by multi story hotels and casinos being built. The dual carriageway is literally 15m from the shoreline so l never even looked at it.
