Oasis Ă  Hoi An

Une oasis de paix un peu excentrée par rapport à Hoi An mais facilement accessible grùce à une mobylette. A quelques minutes des plages et de la ville, on peut manger de l'excellente cuisine sur place. Les propriétaires font tout en leur pouvoir pour nous rendre la vie agréable. Ma conjointe s'est brisée une dent et Vy nous a accompagné chez le dentiste qui aprÚs avoir examiné et fait un RX nous a conseillé d'attendre. Tout cela sans aucun frais ! On n'est pas en Amérique. Quand on reviendra, nous avons déjà notre domicile. Merci à nos hÎtes !!!

A true home away from home Pomelo Garden Boutique Villa was one of the most memorable stays of our one-month trip through Vietnam. We travelle from the south to the north as a family and ended up loving this place so much, we returned for another two nights at the end of our Hue stay. Hoi and Vy were the warmest, most accommodating hosts we encountered. They went above and beyond to cater to our vegan diet, and Hoi was incredibly helpful in organizing tours and giving local tips. When our flight to Da Nang was delayed by 7 hours and we arrived at 2am, they still welcomed us with such kindness and understanding. The villa itself is beautiful—spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. Our kids especially loved the pool. It’s just a 10-minute taxi ride to Hoi An Old Town, and the locals were always happy to help if we needed directions. What truly made this stay special was the personal care. On our way to Hue, Hoi gave us such great advice on what to see that we ended up deciding to return to Pomelo instead of staying in Da Nang. Hoi arranged a private driver to pick us up from Hue with scenic stops at Lap An Lagoon, Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, and Marble Mountain—at a very reasonable price. She even organized a private tour to Má»č SÆĄn the next day. When we returned, my daughters were overjoyed. It felt like coming home. I can’t recommend this place enough—the comfort, the hospitality, and the genuine warmth of Hoi and Vy made Hoi An unforgettable.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden and charming scenery. It also has a beautiful pool. The family staff are very attentive, nice and super friendly. When we arrived to our lovely room we immediately got a refreshing smoothie, which was much appreciated after a lot of travelling. Our room had a nice garden view and was clean. The room was big and had a lovely balcony. In the morning we got a really tasty and fresh breakfast. The hotel lent us (for free) bicycles. We really enjoyed the bike ride in to old town and to the villages. Riding through rice fields and narrow small streets is a must. We appreciated to stay outside the busy centre of old town in Hoi An. There was no problem to stay in old town until after dark, and then bike home afterwards. The hotel booked transfer to/from Da Nang airport. This went very smoothly. We absolutely recommend to stay at this place. Much better and more professional service here than what we got at a 5 star hotel in Pui Quoc. Greetings from Norway

De accommodatie is prachtig, schoon en heerlijk rustig gelegen. In Vietnam hebben wij veel gastvrije en vriendelijke mensen meegemaakt, maar eigenaar Vy en zijn familie in Pomelo Garden spanden de kroon: wat zijn wij hartelijk ontvangen en wat was iedereen behulpzaam. Oasis of calm

Great little family run guest house, loved returning here after a day sightseeing, Hoi An is fairly hectic and full of tourists so it was a pleasure to return back to this beautiful oasis of calm surrounded with exotic plants and palms, free bikes which realistically you need as it’s a bit out of the way from the hotspots, but an easy 10 - 15 min cycle. Pool is nice, room spotless and good size. Amazing fruit platters for breakfast. A good choice all round.

We strongly recommend staying at the Pomelo Garden when visiting Hoi An. Firstly, the facilities and service (room, swimming pool, breakfast, etc.) were impeccable. The homestay is situated in a very calming area in the outskirts of Hoi An making it a perfect place to recharge your batteries! Secondly, the staff were superb, helping out not only with what would be expected but genuinely going out of their way to make you feel at home. Finally, although Hoi An is indeed a lovely town, it is also very touristy and in general it felt really nice to go back each night to a calmer environment. Staying here also means you are directly situated between Hoi An and the beach, which makes it more convenient to enjoy both plans.

Pristine Pomelo

We decided a quiet, relaxed small complex was our ideal. Pomelo fits the bill. The owners, By & Hoi provide excellent service with wonderful people skills.

Excellent hotel!

The staff couldn't do enough for you at Pomelo, the rooms were lovely and well located in the country-side. Cycling distance into town and to the beach or a 5 min taxi ride that the staff are happy to call for you. All taxis in Hoi An are done on the meter so there's no risk of getting ripped off. Would highly recommend to anyone and will hopefully return one day (just not in December when the rain doesn't stop!)

Resort Homestay

The hosts here are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is made fresh and is delicious. The room is comfortable and clean. My favorite part of this place was the garden setting and the lil zen hut (named by me) over the water for meditation and relaxing. Bikes are available and the coastline is a nice short peddle from the place. Town is definitely close enough for biking but since we went in the evening it was easy to get a cheap cab back and forth. I just loved here.

Friendly, beautiful and quiet

Vy and Haoi (the couple running it) were amazing; they couldn't do enough for us and made our stay exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable; they even invited us for a home-cooked dinner which was delicious. Everything about the Pomelo Garden Homestay was exactly what we were looking for. I cannot criticise a thing. The homemade passion-fruit jam that accompanied each breakfast was brilliant.

Incredible Hoi An secret - treat yourself to this

We stayed for 4 nights at Polemo Gardens and we did not want to leave. Our host took care of us the entire time. We were given bikes for the day which we used most days to get to the Old Town. If you've been travelling for awhile, you'll understand the need for a quieter retreat and this is it! Breakfast was great every morning (delicious juice too!). The rooms were spacious and really clean. Grab a map to locate your way back (google maps will help). We can't wait to be back!

Beautiful haven

Booked 2 nights and ended up staying 6. This is an amazing family run business set in beautiful surroundings in a quiet location but only 10 min taxi into town. The reception/dining area is an open but covered area , there are superb flowering shrubs and mature coconut palms all around. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked and always finished with a huge plate of fresh fruit. Room was large, clean and modern. Good wifi. Hosts were so helpful and friendly arranging taxis , trips etc. Can' t recommend this highly enough. Outstanding.
