Clean room. King sized bed or bigger. Our room didn’t have tub. Stayed in 706. Walls alittle thin. Could hear activity from both sides of room. Good selection of food for breakfast. Special shout out to Ruby and Matel for great service and hospitality. Would go back. Would probably ask for a different room. With that being said, excellent staff and service.

The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. The location is also very convenient, close to the beach and restaurants. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money. Would consider staying here again.

I have travelled to 35 countries now and i cant think of a nicer hotel than Sunny Ocean. Great staff, the buffet breakfast was absolutely awesome, room was incredible, spacious and clean and very comfortable. Mere walking distance to My Khe Beach, close to airport and dozens of great little restaurants within walking distance. We had such an awesome stay, thank you Sunny Ocean.

This property was a disappointment. The gym is not a gym, the pool area only has a few chairs and isn't that inviting of a space. Our room had a musty smell and the windows didnt block much street noise. Construction going on next door woke us two out of 4 nights ( not the properties fault except poor sound insulation. Also a karaoke place next door so can get loud at night.

Great staff overall especially Henry and Susie at the reception. Good breakfast buffet selection. location is the best. Many nearby restaurants The facilities need some improvements like the thin walls we can hear people talking in their normal voice, the worst was our last night the room next to us is fighting and we can hear all the screaming and banging from 2am to 4am needless to say we did not sleep. No security present in the hotel. We had a massage and the facilities for spa is needing improvement bigtime. It did not give us the zen vibe and relaxation we needed. The massage was ok.

This stay wasn’t quite what we were expecting. We weren’t aware that we had booked a room with no window so this did make the room quite dark and stuffy. The room was very basic compared to what was advertised on the website. However, staff were helpful and it was in a great location close to the beach.

The room was spotless and the customer service from all staff was outstanding. Kate at reception was excellent, explaining all details of the services of the hotel clearly and was extremely helpful. She even organised a lift for me upon request. In the restaurant, the staff member Stella, was very professional and provided exceptional customer service, always having a smile on her face. Fantastic experience!

Maybe it was just because i was on the inside room but the rooms are not sound proof at all, the window i had was to a corridor and you could hear someone talking out there many times. Early in the morning there was a lot of banging in the hotel, maybe construction?? You can hear every little noise coming from the hallway/elevators/neighbors. I only had to stay one night but i couldn’t imagine staying more than that. Also the shower drain didn’t drain while the shower was on, i had to take a quick one to keep the room from flooding! And the ac only turns on if the room key is in and you cannot adjust the temperature. Overall not a pleasant stay.

Susie and Henry at the front desk provided excellent customer service. Upon checking in, Susie loaned us an umbrella as we were unprepared, recommended the better food options in the area, accommodating with our large group. During the stay I was having trouble finding some distilled water for the CPAp machine and asked Susie if she could call a medical supply store to check if any was in stock before heading out. When they confirmed they had some she even offered to pick it for me the next day. Checkout was easy and the staff were helpful in checking the weight of the bags and storing the items until our departure. Each day of our stay, we stopped by the free breakfast buffet. It ends at 10am but the staff (Ruby, Stella, and Mateo) were all so kind when I showed up close to closing to grab a quick meal. Never did they rush me or made me feel unwelcome. They even have an omelette station that Ruby and Mateo were often manning and the eggs were delicious. The cleaning staff were really helpful as I always had the “do not disturb” sign up. They would grab trash or towels we left outside and even left replacement items for us. Overall a great experience in a great location.
