Wake up to picturesque views of the forest with all the comforts of home. Experience nature dominated by tasteful beams, cozy furniture and oversized windows blending elegance and comfort. Our wraparound deck is perfect for lounging and enjoying the scenery; rain or shine.

Prepare to get comfortable on the outdoor living space with overstuffed cushions. Plenty of room for six people, you and your friends are free to dine or beverage alfresco!

There are three bedrooms in total to accommodate 6 guests. The loft master bedroom is outfitted with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and picturesque view. A junior master has a king-size bed, fireplace, en-suite bathroom and bathtub, and deck access. The third bedroom has a pillow-top queen-size bed, shared bathroom and deck access.

There's nothing like relaxing in an outdoor hot tub. We offer a bubbling 26 jet outdoor hot tub that is sure to soothe your aches and pains. After a day of hiking, shopping or sightseeing, it’s the perfect end to a long day. PLEASE NOTE: The hot tub is located on the lower level accessible by outside stairs only.

Roscommon Cabin is in a private community of equally stunning cabin homes; you can have the privacy and space of your own home and the convenience of being within arm’s reach of everything you need. Access to Dahlonega and a grocery store is a 15-minute drive away.

The road in the neighborhood is a single lane, paved road. It can be steep at points. Guest and residents going downhill have the right of way. If you come across another car, pull over to one of the paved shoulders or the closest driveway to let them pass. You may have to back up. Please note this road is narrow. Stay on the pavement. Please remember you are in the mountains. The speed limit is 17 mph. We have a paved semi-circle driveway, that can hold roughly 6 cars. All cars must stay on the paved driveway. No street parking is allowed, as this is a single lane road neighborhood. The HOA will tow street parked cars at the owners expense. Please keep all cars in the driveway and off pebbles in the yard.

No animals allowed. If an animal is discovered your reservation will be canceled with no refunds.

Being a true log cabin, you may experience some creaking during your stay. This is completely normal as the temperatures inside/outside cause the logs to expand and contract.

Wow . . . this was an amazing stay, it really was. This property is beautiful, clean, updated and very elegant. Plush, high quality linens, and plenty of them. Even towels for taking down to the hot tub were provided. Speaking of the hot tub, there was no extra charge (as there is at some properties), and it was pristine (was even serviced during our stay) and ready to use. The area is upscale and very quiet. You will love it here!

This was an amazing cabin! Everything you need is there! The host was excellent! We had a WiFi issue and it was handled right away, although we didn’t really need it. The cabin is very clean and nicely decorated. All the furniture is very comfy. The outdoor seating area and the wrap around porch was amazing. The hot tub was fantastic.During our stay we got married at the Montaluche Winery and it was an easy drive to the venue. We will definitely be coming back next fall!

hiking sistas get together

My retired gal pals, and I stayed in Dahlonega last year and we were closer to town which was fine, however, we wanted to be in a “woodsy-er” environment. Roscommon was a perfect location, close to downtown and 15-30 minutes to state and national parks. The neighborhood is quiet and the home is absolutely beautiful. The beds and pillows are SUPER comfy, the fireplaces are cozy and the kitchen and bathrooms equipped with everything you need. Courtney was quick to respond to our requests. The cabin is close to many of the waterfall hikes that we have enjoyed previously, and we even found a new one! We were in Dahlonega at the peak time and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors in the trees. We ate at several restaurants around the town square and had one special evening at Monteluce, which is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend Roscommon— and the owners, who really want you to enjoy their property!

Your Next North Georgia Stay!

This home is truly a gem! It is so charming & has more than your average amenities. Great location, awesome curb appeal & great rooms/decor inside! Log Cabin Getaway

A six friend meet-up for 5 days. The house is a bit remote, and precarious to get to, however, once there, it is comfortable and very well appointed. With three bedrooms, it is more than enough space for three couples. The house is surrounded with threes, in a forest like setting, with ample visiting space inside as well as the wrap-around deck. We may return next year.

It’s her attention to details that adds to an experience at Roscommon. Cleanest property I think I’ve ever stayed in. Bed and linens so comfortable. Furniture inside and out is inviting with plenty of footstools. Loved sitting outside on the deck overlooking the woods. Living room has large coffee table and a place for 2 year old to play. Soaps high quality.

Luxury Cabin in the Mountains

Beautiful house with plenty of space for privacy and relaxation. We loved the back deck and spent a lot of our time there. Great wrap around deck/porch with lots of options for hanging out with friends, playing games or reading a book. The host was awesome. She added many little touches to make our visit a great experience. Close easy route to town. Totally recommend this house!

Mountain Getaway

Roscommon Cabin was a beautiful getaway for our group of friends/spouses. It was a great location, tucked away in the woods but still convenient to town and some of our favorite wineries. Our hosts thought of all the important details and were excellent with communication. We loved our stay and would definitely return to Roscommon!
