Bad experience

This house was absolutely disgusting and is the absolute worst rental experience I have ever had in my life. When we checked in to the property there was construction mess, mouse droppings, caked on dirt and grime on almost every surface (including appliances and furtniture), hair on floors and in the showers, etcetera. It was horrific. Additionally. The backyard that is advertised in the posting and in the pictures does NOT exist. There is no functioning pool, no hot tub, just a run down and unkempt yard with some furniture. We reached out to vrbo support, who had no luck getting into contact with the host. We spent HUNDREDS of dollars to rent this house and had to spend HOURS cleaning it before we could even begin to relax and try to enjoy our night. Throughout the evening, we saw mice scatter through the kitchen and living room areas. To say that we felt uneasy would be a huge understatement. Save yourself the labor, stress, money and horror and do NOT book this property. We are currently still trying to get our money back for this awful experience we were forced to deal with. The property is falsely advertised, has a huge pest problem, and is absolutely filthy.
