The owner offered prompt service and ultimately gave a refund. The property was nice, but cleaning was not sufficient even after cleaning lady came a 2nd time. Details below:When we arrived there was hair in the bathtub, food on the counters and stove top, and the dish soap was almost empty. There was no way to bolt the unit from the inside. I texted and the owner promptly sent someone to clean while we were out eating. When we returned some things were better, but the kitchen counter still had food on it as did the stove top. We noticed other things. The coffee table was dusty and had cat hair on it. The kitchen trash can had trash in it with no trash bag. There was food in the fridge and freezer. There were coffee grounds and filter still in the coffee maker. I called to ask for a refund and he promptly came over to the house. He offered a refund, the studio apt below, or the house he rents out next door at no extra charge. We were thrilled at the prompt care and he even helped us carry our bags. He was very friendly.After we had been in the house for an hour or so we noticed that it was not cleaned well either. It also had a large rodent in the attic that we could hear walking around and large cracks in the walls. The house is very cute and decorated lovely. If the rodents were kept at bay and a little better cleaning were done, it was able to be locked from the inside, it would be a very cute place to stay.
