My car got broken into the night I stayed there from the parking lot adjacent to hotel. They told me there was nothing they could do because they didn’t have cameras on the side of the building. So very unsafe location and no cameras to help feel safe.

Little Gem

I keep a list of hotels in cities I am likely to return to. This stylish, inventive little property will absolutely be my top pick for future trips to Dallas. I assume all of the rooms are basically like mine, one space with a divider between the bathroom and sleeping area. There was no wasted space and every inch seemed carefully designed. The room was modern, spotless, the bed was super comfortable though a little creaky, which sadly did not cause me any inconvenience as a solo traveler. Everything worked, including the solid wifi and brand new TV. The shower had great pressure and heat. The accessories were scented with something that made me feel like I was in a spa. There were no windows in my room, and I am sure that contributed to the quiet night. When you enter the hotel, there is a bar area staffed by enthusiastic young associates who check you in and can provide a stiff drink if you need one after your grueling journey. The hotel is an easy walk to loads of historical sites, shopping, and dining options. Directly across the street public parking is available at a mere $12 per day. Really nice place. Highly recommended!

I took this hotel at the last minute after realizing I booked a hotel further away from my intended area. It's was affordable and decent. I did see a roach, and the AC was dirty. The room is small and had no windows. I wasn't in my room much so it didn't entirely bother me. Otherwise everything else was average. Not the worst accommodations I've had.

I was very pleased with my stay at Soca Micro Hotel. The hotel is small and simple, but perfect if you’re just looking for a comfortable place to stay for a night or two without needing extra amenities like a pool or fitness center. The room was clean, the price was reasonable, and it matched my expectations for a micro-hotel. Parking is available on-site and is paid, which I actually appreciated since it felt more secure. The free parking area nearby looked a little questionable, and I even noticed some broken glass in a few spots, so I would recommend using the paid option. One nice touch was the hotel’s evening social, where they provide residents with a cocktail — a great way to wind down and feel welcomed. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and think it’s a great value for what it offers.

Only thing I wasn’t happy about was parking. The public lot where guests have to pay to park fills up in the evening and there was no parking Otherwise, great hotel, great staff, clean, cool speakeasy, cool lobby bar. I would stay again.
