When we went inside to check-in, there was sign up stating the front desk person was away working with another guest. We did not have to wait too long for her to return. When we got back to our room that night, we had no hot water. I complained the next morning and was moved to a room that was supposed to have hot water 3 rooms down from the one I was in. This room had lukewarm water (barely) no TV, no phone to call the front desk, and no trash bins. There was also a bar of used soap in the shower. When I went downstairs to let the lady at the front desk know all of this, I was told there was nothing she could do and I needed to speak with Peter or Jessica in the morning. When we went down to leave in the morning, the sign was back on the counter about them being away working with another guest. I waited for five minutes and no one showed up and I left as we wanted to get on the road back home. And, our room keys had to be replaced because they stopped working. I'm glad I was only there for 2 nights.

The room had a strong odor of paint. The desk clerk said they had no other room to give us and would cancel the reservation. They did not refund my money for the room even after Expedia reached out to them. Not a reputable way to handle business. It will be remembered when looking for places to stay in the future and Comfort Suites is not a place for me to stay when things like this happen.

The lobby area was fine, staff seemed completely overwhelmed and I never saw more than one person on shift at a time. Everything past the lobby had a very bad odor, including the elevator. The hallway smelled like paint and chemicals and paint was all over the carpets. Our room smelled like body odor .

The microwave didn’t work. The closet had plastic tied around the handle so we couldnt store our luggage, there were blood stains on one of the pillows, and there was no hot water at all. We were put on a floor that was currently being renovated and the paint smell was very strong.
