The property is very nice , not luxurious, but very comfortable , we have stayed at the lodges now about 6 times overall . Beds are very comfortable all en suite , the seating in the lounge are starting to look a bit tired around the edges , kitchen is very good with dishwasher, washing machine and lots of utensils, ( could do with 12 sets of crockery and cutlery not just 6 ) just to save keep having to wash up ? Outside space could do with a good clean especially the patio windows and the patio furniture in the front , one of the rattan seats was broken , although we didnât spend much time out there , overall though a very nice place to stay .
Property itself was well appointed with en-suites for all 3 double rooms. Rooms were clean although looking a little dated and bedroom and decor could do with updating. Outside furniture needs updating - 1st floor balcony there were 2 green plastic chairs and one random fold up chair, a grotty looking furniture set on the 1st floor balcony and a tired looking set on the patio downstairs. We couldnât get the dvd player to work but didnât mention it as we werenât interested in watching tv other than the first night. Upstairs shower got blocked which we did mention to management who sent someone round to unblock it the next day. The bbq outside looked quite dirty and hadnât been cleaned of ashes what looked like for a very long time. The grate needed scrubbing but we werenât left a wire brush to do so so we werenât keen on using it during our stay. The facilities at the hotel were fine - the pool was great for the kids and the gym good for the adults.
