Meeting Waters~The Crows Nest

Beautiful riverfront cottage only minutes from Tatamagouche.

The space
This cottage is located behind our main residence next to the Waugh River. You park and then walk down to the cottage. It has a queen size bed and a loft with two single mattresses. Heated by a wood stove in cool spring and fall. The cottage has hot water, a shower, electricity, and a compostable toilet. It also has a small mini fridge, mini stove and a hot tub.

Guest access
You’re asked to stay on the level where the cottage is or down at the river level while enjoying your stay. We live in the main house and this helps maintain everyone’s privacy.

Other things to note
This cottage is somewhat off grid living. Parts of the season it is freezing temperatures there will be no running water, but water can be provided from the main house for cooking and drinking. It is suited for those who enjoy great fishing and beautiful scenery. There are many species of birds in the area. It’s an extremely popular area for eagles. The area for fishing is right where the saltwater tide and fresh water meet in the Waugh River. At high or low tide you can paddle or kayak out into Tatamagouche bay and back. There is also access to the trail system.
