Host did not make themselves availiable. To many plugs not enough Electric sockets, Main bedroom seemed to have some dampness on window wall, not sure about this.lovely location excellent fittings, very comfortable and cosy very comfortable bed. Nice cottage.
Little Wombat was just as presented in the photos. It was lovely, very clean internally and well equipped. Location was great. You can take the stairs next to the house directly up to the botanical gardens and cafe. The gas heater in the lounge made the cottage warm and comfortable when needed. We were very comfortable for our nine night stay apart from a few negativesâŠI was really disappointed to find that the spa didnât function at all and there was a crack in the shower base that looked like it had been there a long while. The bathroom air conditioner was antiquated and pretty inefficient, as was the one in the main bedroom because the outside unit rattles away on the external wall behind the bed. The back garden to the house was really lovely and private and full of bird life, but the outdoor setting was filthy. If those few things were dealt with I think Little Wombat would be perfect.
