I stay at a lot of Pubs in rural areas, this is easily the best, lovely spot, great food and friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and tidy.

Comfortable and nicely renovated room, noisy given the position above the bar but very central location and friendly staff. Small enclosed car park out the back and walking distance to everything Daylesford has to offer.

An heritage pub with good accommodation. Some beautiful touches from the past (e.g., leadlight windows and chandeliers). We enjoyed the deluxe balcony rooms which had plenty of room, two seperate showers facing each other and access to a large balcony overlooking the street. The pub and dining area lacked good interior design and charming character. The exterior of the pub needed some TLC. Good value stay with easy access to main road (hence cafes, bakery, shops, galleries, etc.).

A short stay but pleasant, very clean and comfortable. It’s right in the middle of town and easy walking to everything. Might be a bit tricky for an older person because of stairs. I’m old but thankfully still quite fit.

Lovely old pub . We had a gorgeous room with ensuite . Luxurious feel. Had dinner there was very good. Staff great. Abit noisy for early sleepers but settled down after 12 . To be expected as it is a pub. Would recommend.

Room was beautifully renovated. Bathroom lovely. Quality linens and pillows. Beautiful touches with decor including extra blankets and cushions. Studio suite was perfect as it was at the back of the building and quiet. Bonus breakfast provisions were very welcome. Will definitely come back.
