Facility was OK. Room was clean. Beds and linens good. Fridge was clean. One issue: an electrical socket in the room did not have a cover on it - I thought this was a safety hazard. Breakfast was OK -house staff kept the food bins stocked and the bar tidy.

If there was another hotel close to the race track we would have left this hotel. Actually kept our luggage in the car and did not shower it was so disgusting. TV was broke, phone did not have a handset cord, and when we called maintenance they came to the room and asked if we stole a mirror. Can’t make this up. If your only other choice is to sleep in a car then use this hotel for watching a Daytona race.

Thank you for your review. We have inspected the room you stayed in. The TV works fine, The phone has all it's cords and works fine. We are going through a renovation right now and knew that the mirror was missing. We would not accuse a guest of stealing a mirror. Again, Thank you for your review and safe travels.

This property was terribly expensive and very outdated old smelly and dirty. Our room smelled - in the night we had strong smoking smell as well drifting in. Carpets were dirty towels thin The quality did not match price at all Very disappointed in our stay.

Disappointed but satisfied by the staff

The original room 275 was not very clean, the shower faucet was malfunctioning and the heater was broken. I requested a room change and was given Room 114 which was in decent condition and everything worked. The staff was very apologetic which I appreciated. There are some upgrades being completed in some of the rooms. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and hope to stay there in the future.

The power was out throughout but while one fellow was all flustered, a woman was incredibly patient and accommodating. She let me check in early after a red eye and opened the door for my room since they couldn’t program any keys. She was still working later in the day when I was headed out with friends. She continued to be so calm, helpful and patient. I was impressed! The room is okay but needs to be painted. The textured ceiling needs to be vacuumed, and the headboard needs to have the handprints and footprints polished off. The bed is very comfortable!
