Rented the oceanfront room. The first room was awful. Honestly wish I hadn’t had to pay for it. Property overlooked the parking lot and there were ants in the bathroom. After telling the front staff who did immediately have someone come spray, there were still ants. I also don’t think the room was cleaned properly as there was still sand in the shower. I requested a new room. This room came with a better view and honestly seemed cleaner and higher up so I can actually see the beach. Didn’t like the fact I prepaid for a breakfast but was still inclined to tip. Especially when It should be a free continental because they literally don’t serve anything worth paying $15 and tip when I had to get everything myself including drinks. Parking lot is a nightmare and my car ended up getting sideswiped. Left my info with the front desk considering there wasn’t a GM on duty and never heard anything. I would not stay again in this particular hotel.

Great pool and patio.

Best location, great pool. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great bed and bedding, clean room and bright clean bathroom with a great shower. The beach is not handicap accessible from the hotel. Parking not so hot but we didn't have a car. They could use a LOT more umbrellas, there are only 5 and none for the loungers. Luckily it was very slow for our mid-week, pre-season stay.

Our stay April 25 - 27, started with while checking in, the authorization form stated prices (per night, fees and total) that were very different. I made a call to Hotels.com and after going back and forth, I was told I'd be refunded. The representative stated that she was going to call the hotel and inform them to refund me and get back on the phone with me to confirm that they will be moving forward with the refund. Well it is now May 7th and still no refund... I'll be calling tomorrow. Holiday Inn, itself, was a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, stocked toiletries, beautiful view from our balcony, fire pits near the bar, average size hotel pool, direct access onto the beach. They do not participate in complimentary Continental Breakfast but they do offer complimentary coffee located right outside the restaurant in the hotel.

Had recently stayed at the property the weekend before and had such a great time decided I will come back the next weekend. Everything was perfect with the exception of the check-in. The young lady checking us in was very rude and seemed like she did not want to be at work.

This was our 2nd time staying here, first time was in March and we just checked out today. Hotel staff and rooms are very nice. The restaurant on the other hand is quite slow, both times we were there. We had to ask for our menus on more than one occasion. I’d suggest going somewhere else to eat. One time we waited over 5 minutes for a menu and we were the only table.

Our favorite place to stay in Daytona

Great experience as usual with this hotel. My husband and I stay here every year in April and always enjoy our stay. Friendly and polite staff. Beautiful views. This year we noticed and appreciated many updates to the rooms and the grounds. Very nicely done.

The rooms were clean but the restaurant service was bad. It was understaff with one person being the bartender and waitress. Then we wonder what the food came out late it was because there was one cook. The breakfast was terrible the French toast was flat cheap bread and the egg omelet was like frozen egg mix with a horrible cheese topping. No fruits very bad.

VERY Limited parking on site. there is additional parking however you have to cross a busy road to walk back to the hotel. Also one booking make sure if you are looking for a room with a balcony that it states it on that particular room. I book my room and it stated it was Ocean view. However, my room was no balcony, my view was actually the top of the building, concrete and the ocean view was not what I think people are expecting. I spoke to someone after I checked in and asked if I could switch my room because I was booking a room with a balcony and they advised me there were no more rooms. However, when I went online, I would have been able to book a room. I have stayed at this location before and liked it. I booked again thinking the same amenities were there however they weren’t. There was no kiddie pool for toddlers like there was previously.

The housekeeping at Holiday Inn and Suites at 930 N. Atlantic is really a joke. They do careless sloppy work. They didn't make our bed, didn't vacuum, didn't sweep the hard floors, didn't clean the bathrooms, didn't wipe off any counters or surfaces, and there were specific areas in our room that were filthy and needed maintenance attention. There are also no microwave ovens in the rooms
