In addition, this unit's balcony will be closed for repairs / concrete restoration with work to conclude on 9/17/2025 (subject to change).



The Pirate's Cove building has some after effects caused by the previous hurricanes that are not shown in the photos and descriptions which were taken prior to the storms. Per Pirate's Cove management, ongoing building repair and construction are necessary at times. This property is privately owned and managed by iTrip Daytona. iTrip Daytona does NOT manage OR have any control over the Pirate's Cove building (OR) its amenities. However, we are still more than happy to accept bookings if you'd like to stay in our privately owned condo unit!! Please inquire first before booking if a certain amenity is mandatory for your stay OR if you have any concerns of ongoing projects as this information is always evolving by building management. Beach access is available next door at Dunlawton beach ramp. There will be no refunds or credits for the aforementioned issues if applicable. *****



You will be impressed with this beautiful 1 Bedroom / 1 Bath Oceanfront Unit, which guarantees spectacular views from its 7th floor balcony! Enjoy the morning sunrise from its private balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean where you can watch dolphin at play and listen to the waves crash. At night, toast to a special occasion as you watch the sun drop on the Halifax River and Intracoastal Waterway from its “front” balcony.



This non-smoking, unit has 580 sq. ft. and sleeps four people. Bedroom has a king bed, view of the Intracoastal from its window, 40 inch flat screen TV, closet, dresser and laptop desk. Bathroom has tub, handheld shower head and hair dryer.



Equipped Kitchenette with refrigerator, 4 burner stove top, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee pot maker, crockpot, waffle maker, cookware, plates, cups, and etc. 4-top dining room table with bench seating and stools. Living Room has pull-out sleeper sofa, Reclining chair, faux operating fireplace, 50 inch flat screen TV and entry to its ocean-front private balcony. Free private & secured WiFi and HBO. Relax trip that was needed that started off rough

Checking was no problem but when entering the room to discover that it wasn’t clean was mind blowing I understand the construction working that was going on which did not know until I got there so please update information until the construction work is done like the pool and the balcony if I would have known I would have booked else and also please spray have to buy bug spray for the little tiny bugs that were in the bathroom

Pool was under construction and very noisy. 8:30am construction noise woke us up while on vacation. Also 1 roll of toilet paper. Had to buy some. Afraid to call for fear of $200 fee for toilet paper. Will not recommend this property.

The unit was fine but the building is really run down. After booking we realized pool was closed therefore no beach access. Also, didn’t realize the unit didn’t have a washer/dryer until week before and laundry facility for the building no longer exist. Couple decent restaurants within walking distance which we enjoyed.

Florida Stay

Normally rent a house inland for 3-4 months but friends were not returning so we cancelled a 3.5 month house rental and opted for a month at Daytona Beach. Used VRBO for first time and was satisfied with the process. Stayed at Pirates Cove which is dated but still in fair condition. A little expensive and especially with no pool available. Been 2 years since the hurricane so Pirates Cove and others not up to normal yet although others were. Will look for alternatives next year to ensure all facilities are available.

In having a big comfy recliner, this was added touch to the living room since this made my family feel like at home and the king bed was roomy. Great view in being on the 7th floor.

NO HOT WATER!!! Poorly designed kitchen space.

Cold showers, day after day, are not what we expected in an "Exquisite-Remodeled...Unit". Multiple other problems with the unit made our stay less than enjoyable: lighting was terrible with some sources not functioning, insufficient towels and bedding supplied, bathroom exhaust fan not functioning, plus zero counter space for food prep. The rental agency was useless. I would like a refund.

View of the ocean was assume! Closet doors in the entryway and bedroom were off the tracks. The entry way closet was really hard to access and we just left the bedroom closet open.

Perfect location!

The property itself was just the right size for my husband and myself. It had everything we needed. And the view...amazing! One thing we find on most balconies are chairs that cause our line of vision to be the rail. This condo had 2 chairs that were raised and so you were able to see the beach over the balcony better than any other place we have stayed. This location is conveniently located to everything we needed...restaurants, grocery, etc. The property manager, which is a company, responded to my emails fairly quickly. Would definitely rent this place again!

Excellent Stay

We enjoyed everything about our room. It was very clean when we walked in. Management responded promptly to our email concerning the very small mistake of us not having bath towels when we arrived, and the issue was resolved almost immediately.

Perfect

This property was perfect for our honeymoon. It's located in South Daytona, far enough away from all the crowds but close enough that we were able to drive, uber or grubhub anything we wanted. The room was exactly as described in the listing and was very clean. We were very pleased and highly recommend.
