It was very clean and easy parking in front of the door. The refrigerator worked and check-in was easy. We never figured out how to get the tv to work.

Everything was fine. The parking lot was rough, potholes, over filled potholes and loose gravel on hard surfaces which mean you have to be careful on a motorcycle like I was. No ice machine, but there was a small fridge with a freezer and I was able to remember the recipe of how to make ice. The breakfast at the attached restaurant was good. All in all, it was a good stay and the price was right. Would recommend Champion's Inn & Restaurant? Yes, I would.

Good place to stay if your going fishing with your buddies. Not so good if your bringing the wife. Rooms where clean. The property still needs a lot of updating. Hopefully they will continue to make improvements to the property. It has potential to be a good place to stay.

This property needs a kit of work. It's old, rundown, looks abandon, just overall a dump. The hot water was MIA, looks like the entire property was put back together by mix and match parts. The restroom and shower were horrible, moldy and not working. I would not recommend this property for a family or single person stay. This place needs work. Pool is there but not functional and dirty.

Bathroom from a horror movie

Old rundown roadside motel. The receptionist was very friendly. The room seemed to be remodeled, but the bathroom was not. It was straight out of a horror movie - absolutely filthy. I tried not to touch anything. Shower has only cold water. We were told to leave the shower running 15 minutes to get the hot water to work, but it never did, seemed like a huge waste of water. We ended up washing with baby wipes. Breakfast is old coffee and an egg taco.

Two failures in one.

Place looked closed. No one there when we arrived. Key was in a mailbox. No tissues in room. Room was clean. No breakfast provided as promised on Hotels.com site. Place needs massive overhaul. Room was prepaid on Hotels.com yet when manager finally arrived, she tried to get me to pay again saying Hotels.com didn't forward the information to the inn. Both the Champions Inn and Hotels.com get an F.

Run Away. Pay more elsewhere for a clean room.

I do not recommend staying here. It looked like they didn't clean the room at all - as in used sheets, unvacuumed carpet, spots on couch, dirty tub, dirty bathroom sink. I took plenty of videos and pics, but they are on my phone and I am completing this on my computer. Now I know, if there is a sign that says if you do not report any concerns about your room within 30 mins then you will not be allowed to change rooms, it means that you better look around closely quickly! Service was friendly, but the front office stank of cigarette smoke. I signed on because I might have gotten charged for an extra night that I booked then canceled that same morning. Still not sure. Ice machine was broken in our building (and looks like it had been for a while), so I had to walk across the parking lot for ice.
