We paid a little extra and booked the so-called 'Grand Room.' The room had not been prepared for guests. The floor needed to be cleaned and polished; there was no toilet paper; bedsheets needed changing; the bathtub had a jacuzzi function which had clearly not been used for many years and hot was available for limited periods during the day.

There should have been an electric kettle in the room. I spoke to manager night before. They said call down in the morning and I'll get you one right away. It didn't come until I asked a third time hours later. The literature in the room says complimentary breakfast. Great! Unexpected. I go to the restaurant, and they say it is not actually included, but you can buy it. I don't usually eat that early. But the point is, don't promise something if it's not true. It was a real let down. Especially because I didn't have an opportunity to use an electric kettle with my own tea or coffee, because the room didn't have any. Not the worst airport room. Some decent people at the front desk. Unfortunate let down of their promises. That is important to me and sours my experience.

This property is listed on Expedia as 4 star property. It is probably a 1.5 star property. The biggest problem was that the room smelled horribly. Also the room was shabby. The bathroom sink was tiny and water did not flow properly. There was lots of road noise. I was quoted Rs 500 for airport taxi but when it came time they charged me Rs 700 claiming that terminal 3 is more - it really should not be
