Drunk receptionists

Receptionist denied us room and demanded cash. They said Expedia is a scam and they never get paid. Asked us to leave the hotel. We paid them cash and checked out. Expedia did not help us even after multiple calls. Receptionists were under the influence of alcohol and drinking at the desk.

Hotel is nice but upkeeping of room to be improved

Staff behaviour & food served are very good. Room cleaning & changing of used bed sheets etc. not promptly done.

Terrible

Floors filthy, no bottled water in room, no heating and was cold at night during December had to sleep with jacket on under the blankets. Ask for bottled water and got snapped at that then was promised some would come, it didn't.

Avoid if possible

Staff were helpful and friendly but the room was not very nice. There was no window and the air conditioning sounded like a tractor. The bed was not very clean and there was a variety of invertebrates in the bath.

GREAT ECONOMY HOTEL

Great place to stay for exploring Delhi. In the mix at Karol Barth all the best markets in Delhi are all near . Rakesh and his staff will guide you to all the best places. We stay here whenever we have business in south Delhi its a place we can trust and we like the slightly jaded colonial type house it inhabits.nice taste of old style Delhi. Only a 50r rick away from Connaught Place.Thoroughly recommended.

Great budget option in New Delhi.

Hotel staff were on the whole lovely and helpful. The only thing that let it down was the bathroom which had mildew and the hot water was not always on. Internet connection also a bit patchy. However for the price we paid it was a very comfortable room and would certainly return/recommend! The breakfast is included and they bring it to you in your bedroom - there is no dining hall.
