First, thank you to Daryl & Mary for sharing their beautiful property.From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt warm and inviting, tucked into a peaceful corner of the land. Inside, we were welcomed with delicious baked goods—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. It’s clear the hosts genuinely care about making guests feel at home. The living room was perfect for relaxing, with views of tall trees and an open cornfield where we even spotted a hawk or eagle hunting—an unforgettable sight.The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, far beyond most rentals. It had everything we needed: cookware, utensils, seasonings, foil for grilling, and even bottled water. The grill was easy to use and made outdoor cooking especially enjoyable, surrounded by birdsong and quiet woods.The property itself is stunning. A serene creek sits at the bottom of a steep hill, with natural tree bridges and plenty of shade from mature trees. It felt untouched and incredibly peaceful.There’s also plenty to do: a hot tub under the stars, a game-filled garage with ping pong and darts, and a basement pool table with a TV. Families will appreciate the extra beds and toys as well.One highlight was the sturdy swing at the edge of the property—we spent more time there than expected.Overall, our stay was exactly what we needed: peaceful, refreshing, and memorable. We’d love to return, especially in the fall. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend!
