There aren’t enough stars to give this home. Everything about it was top notch. Kitchen well stocked with pots, utensils, etc. beds super comfortable, plenty of towels. Home was spotless. We were on a fly fishing trip but rain run off made it tough. House is.close to Delta restaurants, Black Canyon, & Grand Mesa. Lots to do if you don’t fish. Would not hesitate to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin! It was very clean and comfortably furnished. And it was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to toiletries to extra blankets for the cozy bed. It even had a great selection of games; we waged many rounds of cutthroat Yahtzee and Sorry! under the lovely lights of the covered patio. The aspect that really made it hard for us to leave was the location. Yes, it had easy access to the highway for our trips to Colorado Nt’l Monument and Black Canyon. But it was the riverfront setting that utterly charmed us. It drew us outside every evening for peaceful relaxation as we admired the ever changing sky at twilight. Simply beautiful. And many thanks to property manager Liz who graciously and promptly responded whenever we had questions. If we return to this area in the future we will definitely want to stay here again!

This was a very nice place to stay. A lot of room for the kids to play in the yard and the river. Also we had previously arranged to park two of our RVs on the property. It is quiet and off the beaten path but still easy to get to. Ron is a great host.

Excellent stay with all the benefits of camping
 fire pit, dark night sky, nature sounds, outdoor dining activities and games
 but without the hassle and downsides. The cabin was spacious, clean, with comfortable beds, and A/C to keep cool. We enjoyed a tethered inner tube float on the river out back, fishing, and watching all the hummingbirds buzzing around. There are multiple areas for outdoor seating including a large covered patio to keep you dry. The location was convenient to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the Grand Mesa. We had yummy Third Bowl ice cream at a cute shop in Crawford called the Lucky Horseshoe and the kids enjoyed the swarm of sunflower seed seeking chipmunks at the Lands End observatory. Would definitely recommend this property!

This was by far the best rental we have had in years, I would recommend this facility to anyone that wants to be close to all local actives or just hang out and relax by the river. Gunnison River Black Canyon Fly Fishing Trip

We stayed here before and after our Gunnison River Fly Fishing Float Trip. The locate was minutes away from our early morning meet point. And a short ride back after the trip. Place was great and as described. The woodpeckers were a nice touch

Wonderful spot right on the Gunnison River

Our visit was with other family who are local to the Delta area. Access to the property is a bit tricky but the host was extremely helpful both before and during our stay. Directions to the property on VRBO website are excellent.This delightful lodge in a pretty setting exceeded our expectations by a lot. It was well stocked with most any items one would reasonably expect. We would definitely return.

Nice clean place by the river

We enjoyed this property. It is very private and right next to the river. My wife and I stayed there with three of our grown kids. It is a log house with a nice, vaulted ceiling inside. A separate dining room served well as a remote work room for some of us, and upstairs has a nice reading/sitting room area. We will visit here again. Thanks!

The Hideaway

The cabin is hidden down on the river, it's in the perfect location not to far off the main road and only a few minutes to town. It was very clean and comfortable. The perfect spot if you want to be on the river and sleep with the sound of the water flowing over the rocks. It was peaceful and relaxing. Great place to stay.

Lovely, relaxing stay by the Gunnison

This place is so lovely and relaxing! We spent time by the river fishing, reading, and enjoying the fire pit. Everyone had a wonderful time. I think the thing that makes this place extra special is way it’s stocked like a home—we found everything we needed including games and s’more sticks. Thanks for the lovely stay!
