The worst, scariest hotel Iâve ever been in in my life. We booked for two nights, arrived late in the evening and were terrified of the state of the room and the hotel. But because it was already so late and we traveled all day we decided not to scramble for a new hotel but stay the night and first thing next morning we ran from there as fast as we could. There were cigarette ashes in the corner next to the bed, the front door lock was missing wood, there was hair under the blanket in my bed, the shower was so dirty we were genuinely scared to touch it, the mirrors were cracked and the sink water after brushing our teeth made us sick... to top it all off we actually booked the room with breakfast, but when we arrived the hotel told us thereâs no breakfast and itâs not available due to COVID. Please bare in mind weâve already been traveling the country for more than 10 days at that point so I knew that wasnât true for everywhere. But when questioned the staff assured us that all the hotels in the area do NOT serve breakfast and ALL spaâs are closed due to COVID. After giving them a benefit of a doubt Iâve done some research and surely almost every hotel serves breakfast in the area and there are plenty of hotels with spaâs and hamams open. We booked another hotel for the following night and had a wonderful experience and another spa nearby. Fair to say I will never return to this hotel. And Expedia was absolutely terrible, their booking confirmation provided no details at all.
