Some issues the owner needs to know: My truck was vandalized. A neighbor rudely instructed where to park. The house was not as clean as it should have been.

Getaway Dream

Lynette, is a super host and a wonderful person. Did everything to make are stay pleasant. The pictures on her site doesn't do this home justification. This renovation was a project of love and it shows in the finished product. and her staging of her home is of JoAnna Gaines caliber. Looking forward to going back to Denver to stay here again, not sure if I should take my wife. It might cost me several honey-does

First Denver Visit

The accommodations were really unique and everything was very clean. We really liked the kitchen set up and it was well stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and our son really enjoyed the train room. The place was located near a dog park and school which was nice in the morning for walks. It was centrally located for all of our day trips.

Great Place to Stay

We really enjoyed staying in the Whittier Wonder. Lynette was a great host, very responsive and prompt. The house is absolutely gorgeous and even with only one shower accommodated 5 adults very well. We only wished they had a few more places to sit and chat with everyone together, we were always missing a chair or two. The area was beautiful and perfectly situated. We really enjoyed taking advantage of all the recommendations provided. I would definitely consider staying again!

Cute, cute, cute

What a cute place. The pictures don’t do it justice, especially upstairs. Lynette clearly put a lot of thought, creativity, and heart into renovating and decorating the property. The location was convenient too, both for walking to the Five Points commercial area and driving or taking an Uber downtown. And thank you for the recommendation on the Rolling Pin Bake Shop. We had to go there two days in a row. Yum!! Overall, staying here was a first rate experience and a great value. I would definitely stay here again.

Our spring break in Denver

This house was great! The owners have put so much attention into the renovation and decor of this house. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) spent our spring break here and exploring the Denver area. Our only complaints regarding our stay have to do with characteristics of a house that are over 100 years old. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely appointed. Our biggest issue was that there wasn’t a room with comfortable seating for 4 to watch tv or play a game (except at the dining table). However the room sizes can’t be changed and the owner has done their best with the spaces that they could. Despite this minor inconvenience, this property is still well-deserving of a 5-star rating.

Great home away from home!

Wonderful house, perfect for our family getaway. It was easy to Uber there from the airport, and to-from downtown. If the weather had been warmer we would have walked and taken the L line...it was quite close by. The house was so cozy and warm, it was freezing/snowing last weekend! All the instructions were clear. We barely used the kitchen, but it was well appointed. There were loads of towels and the bathrooms had soap, shampoo etc. Loved the washer and dryer, and it was great to have 1.5 bathrooms. We were a group of 4: a couple, a kid and a grandparent. The house would work well for a gals trip or even three couples. It was easy to work with the owners/managers. We recommend this house!

Wonderful location - Fun and Creative Decor

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed staying at this "travel" themed home. We couldn't get over how creative the decor was. My personal favorite is the suitcase medicine cabinet in the upstairs bathroom. The modern kitchen is a dream, well stocked, extra snacks provided by owner. House is a quick 8-10 minutes car ride from downtown Denver. Yummy restaurants nearby. Lots of tips provided by the owner in the binder upon check-in.

A wonderful and comfortable home borne of a thoughtful renovation (check out the binder of pics) with interesting artifacts everywhere. The home is well stocked with all the necessities and more. The neighborhood has a number of interesting properties and is worth a walk-around, parking is plentiful and the location is great for driving or Lyfting around to city attractions and events. We enjoyed hosting our (geographically dispersed) family Thanksgiving dinner there and will look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Denver.

A Week in Denver

We so enjoyed this home. Walking around the neighborhood we constantly saw people working on their homes to make this an interesting and unique area. Our place was well furnished and had all the extras that you would usually have to run to buy at the grocery store.
