Had to change rooms due to lights not working and just needing light bulbs. Was told they could take care of it in the morning or we could change rooms. Had to change rooms because morning wasn’t going to cut it. The bed was rock hard. The continental breakfast was very minimal. Over all I would only give this hotel one star. We have stayed at other La Quinta’s and they have been better. Over all the employees didn’t seem to care. There was stains all over the bedding. Just very disappointed.

The room smelled of pot use and there was small amounts of mold visible on the ceiling in the shower. Three was also water spots on the ceiling in the room. I saw some burn marks on the comforter that looked like cigarette burns. The hotel was not marked well with a sign. The rooms all had external entrances that were difficult and parking was not close by.

The place was absolutely disgusting, cigarette burns and stains on the bedding, trash all over the room and only god knows what was splattered on the floor and nightstand. Luckily we had bedding of our own to use over the sheets.

I got late to check in due to storm on our way to golden and I have to pay an extra night. Receptionist in lobby said I can talk to the manager in the morning about it but it was 9 o’clock and manager never came. Room was dusty and few hairs in the bed, breakfast was very limited (at least the one thing I like about the property)
