The inside of this rental was decorated cute, and the beds were comfy! Nice hot water and ample room for 2 people. The communication was great with the owners - very prompt and helpful when the A/C Thermostat went out and Ali coached us on how to replace the batteries - then credited us 25 for the inconvenience!The only reason I didn't give this rental a 5 is because the yard was very overgrown. It looked abandoned when we arrived. It would have been nice to sit in the backyard under the big tree and relax. It looks like this little neighborhood is trying to revitalize - a lot of work going on. Cute tiny homes on a quiet street.All in all - a good stay and great proximity to so many things!

We went to Visit Drake. This house is located pretty close to Drake. It was easy to get in and out. The neighborhood was quite. Not to far from the airport or downtown

The location was ideal and house was super cute but very small. The sleeper sofa did not have a mattress it was just the cushions from the sofa. There were ants in the bathroom. The beds were not very comfy.

Great house, great location for the mall

We stayed here because we were vendors at a local event happening at Merle Hay Mall. The location is amazing—very close to Merle Hay.House was well-kempt and clean. We had a brief issue with the access code not working, but we contacted the owner and she resolved it quickly, so top marks for good communication.I would stay here again.

Charming home in quiet neighborhood

I was in Des Moines for a week for appointments with my son. I stayed for 5 nights. I had my 5 year old and 8 year old with me. The house was a perfect size for us. The kitchen had all the tools I needed for making meals. The beds are the foam temperpedic type. A bit too firm for me but that it a personal preference. The kids slept great on it. The rooms have black out curtains which is one reason I chose this house. So many houses have no curtains or thin ones. I need dark when I sleep! The kids enjoyed the play fort and swings. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was close to grocery stores. I looked at many properties in Des Moines area before choosing this house. It had more charm and a yard.
