We had barely any hot water and the bath tub drain didnt even work.

Lots of issues

Does the owner actually care about this property? The parking lot was scattered with litter. The courtyard outside my room had broken siding and roofing. Cigarette butts littering the doorways. The room had three lights...entry, and two small ones by the beds. Nothing in the work area. Plus the mattress was covered with plastic...does that mean it was infested with bed bugs at one time? Bad even for a Motel 6.
