This vacation rental is a very special one for both lake lovers and beach fans. With ~1200 square feet of indoor living space and two spacious zen decks with "the view", it is a 2 bedroom 2,5 bathroom unit sleeping 8 guests, and it is located right in the heart of Destin, FL. Being only 2 miles away from Destin Harbor, it is surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and family attraction sites and it has the perfect location for an unforgettable vacation.

The townhouse is located in a cozy family-oriented community called 'Southbay By The Gulf', and it sits directly on the community lake. We have two large lakefront decks that are accessible from the living room and the master bedroom, to sip on your morning coffee or for enjoying sunset drinks and meals. Our tranquil lake is the home for many turtles, ducks, and seagulls, and watching them right from your master bedroom bed or the living room feels like a perfect retreat. If you are a fishing enthusiast, fishing is allowed at the lake even from your vacation rental decks, under a strict catch-and-release policy. Soutbay By The Gulf community has two pools, two tennis courts, and a gorgeous 300 feet private beach area.

Park your vehicle in your reserved parking spot, directly in front of your front door. No need to deal with far-away parking lots and long wait times at crowded elevators.

Our townhouse has a keyless entry door lock system, so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay. Your vacation should be relaxing; no more lockouts or lost keys. You will also have the opportunity to create your own unique code that "you" select for your stay.

Destin is famous for its white sugar sand beach and it is only 3-4 minutes walking distance from this vacation rental. The walk is such a fun journey where you walk on an easy and beautiful path from the lake's pedestrian bridge, by the pool and the tennis courts.

All flooring has been changed and upgraded with coastal-style LVP material. NEW fresh paint, furniture, beds and mattresses, TVs, stainless steel appliances, faucets, kitchen cabinets, kitchen backsplash, bathroom vanities, toilets, light fixtures, ceiling fans, decorative items, deck furniture, air conditioning unit, water heater, and many more house items. White Quartz countertops in the kitchen and all three bathrooms. 70 inches TV in the living room, 55 inches TV in the master bedroom, and 50 inches TV in the second bedroom. All TVs are smart with complimentary Amazon Prime Video access.

All kitchen cooking materials, dishes, and other needed supplies are fully updated, and carefully selected after thoroughly considering all potential needs for family meals to be made from scratch.

We really enjoyed our stay! My girls loved getting to watch the turtles from our porch. They also loved the kiddy pool. That’s such a nice amenity for the property to have for those with young kids and toddlers. Pretty easy access to the beach and the beach wagon was a HUGE help! It was also nice that we could walk to the shops and ice cream place next door.

Great place for my little family. Right on a lake with tons of turtles. Short walk to beach with setup included was perfect. I can't forget to mention that the owner responded quickly to anything I had questions about. Would definitely stay again.

Sumer is an absolute joy to work with. The unit was immaculately maintained. We lived having the upper and lower patios directly on the lake and sharing cheerios wirh the turtles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be very happy to do it again sometime! The pool, the courts and the beach are all well maintained and within a 5 to 12 minute walk. RECOMMEND!

Clean, beautiful, great location

We had a great visit to Destin. This unit was very clean. I loved the decor. Great location to the beach and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, pots and pans as we like to cook. We also enjoyed the wagon to pull our beach necessities. Overall I would recommend this unit and would definately stay there again. Thank you to the property manager for staying in contact with us before, during and after our stay. :))))

We had a great time

Lovely place. Communications with manager were excellent. The daily Umbrella and Chair set-up on the beach that were included with the property was a really nice perk. The beach front is not nearly as crowded as other resort beach fronts. The wifi and cable were a bit spotty, but I don't think that was the fault of the property as other units seemed to be experiencing as well. Overall it was great. We'd rent the place again.

One of the best vacations I have ever had. I usually rent beachfront but wanted to do something different and I am so glad I did. This complex is located in a little community right on the lake. It is gorgeous. It has 2 huge decks,one in master bedroom and other off the livingroom upstairs. Everything is new everything matches,and everything works.The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the front door. I felt comfortable like I was at home. I have nuthing negative to say about my stay except I wish I could have stayed longer. I am already planning to return next year.

Just the right everything!

We’ve stayed at beaches places from Orange Beach to the Out Banks. This one was just right. They’ve thought of just about everything. It’s the little details that matter the most. Decor was spot on for setting a beach vibe mood, the perfect number of beds for small family or multi Gen family. The property is very well maintained, the beach and beach service is clean, pristine and just what you need. We would love to come back to this unit. It’s fun to fish off your deck (you’ll catch more turtles than fins) but it’s a nice change of pace. The walk to the beach is pleasant and well lit. All the neighbors and guests are friendly. I would love to stay at 51 again. It’s just right!

Property was very centrally located, close to a lot of things! Screens would have been nice to open the windows and doors to get the cool air in, as upstairs was pretty warm during the day. Perfect Getaway

Our trip was amazing! The property was easy to locate and very clean. Everything we needed was in the unit including a beach wagon, tons of beach toys and an ice chest. We liked having door and gate codes to access the unit and beach rather than keeping up with keys. The walk to the beach was only a few minutes. Along the walk you could stop on the pier and view the beautiful water and turtles. The area was quiet and had several places to eat and shop around it that was also walking distance. The property manager Sumer was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly when we reached out. This was a perfect getaway trip for our family and we will definitely be returning.
