It was a beautiful 3 story house! We had a total of 19 people (8 adults, 2 teenagers, and 9 children) and everyone was comfortable. I believe the teenagers and one adult slept on couches. It was a short nice walk to our private section of the beach. The community pool was basically in the back yard. It was so convenient! Not much on site parking, but the overfill parking was walking distance.

Family birthday

We stayed for my father’s 70’s birthday. Came from each coast. A family of 18 from 70-4 weeks. The garage had beach toys, cooler, chairs, a couple bikes. Enjoyed the freedom of roaming with the golf cart. Management was very friendly and responsive with any questions we had leading up to the reservation and made sure we got settled in. They were also very responsive when we had a flight change and were able to accommodate a little later check out. The 3 floors were nice to separate for the early risers and those who needed to be in bed earlier. The beach was beautiful. The only thing, we did not realize Destin in March can be on the cooler side, especially at night. The pool is heated so the kids did take full advantage. We would definitely come again but later on the season where we can enjoy the beach more. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We loved having the pool and tennis courts so close to the house. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy that the community pool was heated and could be used during our stay over Christmas break!

False Advertising!!!!!

The listing for the property did not match the amenities received. The main reason for choosing the property was that it had a golf cart and added amenity of an elevator since it had 3 floors to fit the whole family. However, the golf cart was not free and required a separate contract with a local golf cart company who required me to give my credit card information and that the golf cart be added to my insurance. However, if you call your insurance chances are they will tell you they do not cover those types of slow moving vehicles. We got stuck in the elevator a total of 5 times before it completely stopped working. The owner was not easily accessible and each time it took almost a day or more than a day to contact them. The elevator was never fixed. We had to carry luggage, food, and all other heavy items up two and three flights of stairs whenever we wanted to go to the beach or other outing. The management company was responsive, but there was essentially nothing they could do to help us since the owner had their own maintenance team. When I had the management company to reach out to the owner to ask for a discounted rate since we didn't have the top amenities we booked the stay for, the owner told the management company to tell me NO. Furniture/appliances were outdated/smelled. It was the worst stay I've had at a rental and put a major damper on our family vacation that we had planned all year. Do not stay in this place if you need a golf cart, elevator, or good owner.

Perfect family vacation spot

Excellent property. Exactly as advertised…clean, tastefully decorated and perfect spaces for our family to gather as well as individual space as to not be on top of each other. Golf cart was a big plus as well as the swimming pool virtually a few steps from the back at the property. Very close walk/golf cart ride to beach. Short drive to restaurants and a variety of entertainment. Our family is already discussing booking again next year!

This is our seventh year to visit Destin. This house was one of our favorites. Very clean and well stocked. Communication was excellent and the golf cart was a wonderful addition to our stay. Loved our family time making memories in your house!

Excellent Property & Communication

This property was a perfect place for our family. The 3 separate floors with all the necessary needed items were an awesome to be able to separate after a long day of site seeing. I would definitely recommend this property to all my friends and family. It was just off the main stretch of scenic hwy so the noise wasn't bad at all but everything was super close for access. The provided golf cart was perfect for us to get around and just go exploring. Thank you for the hospitality and providing us with a perfect place to stay on a much needed vacation.

Good Location

The house was good and the area is really nice. Plenty of floors for a big family. The only issue we had was that the beach access area is one of the smallest I’ve ever seen. You are sandwiched between two private spots. We would probably book again, but it’s right at the top of our budget.

We loved the 3 separate living areas - each family could wake up and start the day at their leisure. The 2nd and 3rd floor were large enough for our large group to gather and enjoy dinners together. The beach was a short walk away. It was easy to bring our little ones back and forth for naps during the day.

The house was located conveniently near the ocean and right behind thw pool. We traveled a little by golf cart but, also, had very responsive Lyft drivers to this house. Would definitely recommend!

9/2/23 Here is a listing of pros and cons relative to our stay at 61 Mira Flores which I hope can be helpful to you. There were 10 adults in our group so we needed every room and amenity advertised. PROS You have been very responsive to our requests - Thank you. Close to beach Adequate room for all HVAC kept up Swimming pool CONS Not close enough to beach for some. Shower at pool not functioning HVAC was not functioning when the first ones arrived.( Maintenance fixed it promptly) Water Drip from 3rd to 2nd floor bathroom (Maintenance fixed it promptly) 3rd floor dryer not usable due to broken knob which had to be ordered - thus unusable. Large sink on 3rd floor not draining properly. Call buttons on elevator not working - thus elevator was essentially unusable. (elevator was a key amenity for choosing the location) Golf cart insurance issue was not acceptable, did not use it --It was also one of the key factors for choosing this location. WE went so far as to contact our auto insurance agent who contacted the underwriters for confirmation and they said that the Slow moving vehicle would not be covered under our Auto policy. Showers/tubs need grab bars. Mattresses' on bunk beds were not comfortable for adults.
