SunDestin Unit 0809 is a bright and cheerful one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo accommodating up to six. Just steps into the open-concept living/dining space and you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. Lounge on plush sofas and catch a game on the flat-screen TV or pop into the fully appointed kitchen and prepare snacks for the beach. Start your day at the Destin harbor, just five minutes away, a great place for a sun-filled afternoon. Rent a pontoon boat, wave runners, or a kayak and explore Crab Island, a fun hangout near the Destin bridge. Upon your return, stroll through the many shops and boutiques, catch some live entertainment, and indulge in local fare and tropical cocktails while overlooking the Destin harbor!

My Boyfriend and I had a great time at this unit! It was clean, had everything we needed for a quick beach getaway (except for a ceiling fan in the bedroom, it got a bit hot in there at night while we were sleeping)-aside from that, the location was awesome & it was PERFECT!

Our stay at Sun Destin was great! Beautiful view!! Perfect location. The room was good for us. Next time I’ll get a 2 bedroom so my kids can have their own room rather than sleeping in the bunk beds in the hallway. They need more elevators but that’s just getting picky. Thanks for a fun vacation!

This is the second or third time I’ve stayed at Sundestin and I absolutely love this resort. Our condo was very clean and had a perfect view. Easy check in and check out process. They are doing construction on the building but the noise didn’t bother us. If you have kids, I would check to make sure the amenities such as the outdoor pool, hot tub, and splash pad are open before you book. They also have an indoor pool and a bar/restaurant which we had breakfast at. I highly recommend this condo as the description and pictures online were very accurate and the location is close to everything.

Do not stay here!

No Sauna, no splash pad, no Tiki bar, restaurant was supposed to be new mgnt. but food was the same and the workers were rude. I was aware it was under renovation but in my email it stated the upgrades were on sched and did not mention the sauna was broken, for 2 years according to the manager, splash pad closed, tiki bar closed. You basically pay resort price for no amenities.

Great Location

Enjoyed the Beach Access. Long elevator waiting, a lot of Construction. We where told indoor and out door pool where open and in use. Upon arriving and email greeted me with pool closers. Outdoor pool closed the entire week, indoor pool was small and closed 2 out of the 5 days. Hot tub was packed with unattended children ages ranging 7-11 . Happy with room, cleanliness, location. Unhappy with amenities that were promised and construction.

Week in Destin

The property is old and worn out. The staff are the rudest I’ve ever encountered on vacation, especially the female that was present when we checked in and was there on day shift for several days but not today when we checked out. She even mocked me when I was trying to complete the information about our vehicle for parking. The woman in concierge was also rude and unhelpful. They acted like we were different than other guests because we booked through VRBO. I will never use VRBO or stay at sundestin again. The outdoor pool and the indoor hot tub were closed and this was not mentioned on the listing.

Our experience was good No big issues. The shower drain was plugged but maintenance fixed it. We had a good view from the balcony. Wish there were luggage racks We would stay in this room again if we come back.
