A Great Place to Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at The Islander Unit 604! The place was clean and well stocked. The location is wonderful. Minutes from Target, Big Kahunas, and plenty of restaurants. The only downside was not having a washer/dryer in the unit but there is a coin laundry on site if necessary. We will definitely book here again next time we’re visiting Destin!

This is our favorite condo at the Islander so far! However, as with every condo we've stayed in at the Islander, our feet are black because the room is not mopped enough or maybe not at all.

It has great views, clean and everything we need. Condo 604 is our yearly place to stay!! You must eat at Maguire's and The Back Porch! They are always first stops for us. Enjoy your stay in this great condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Islander and have stayed in various rooms over the years. Honestly I paid for a Gold condo and this condo really didn't deserve the Gold price. I thought the walls needed painting, there was work needed on the floor boards, etc. No fans in the rooms, but the furniture was nice and comfortable.

604 wonderful, The Islander needs a new cleaning company!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 604 was wonderful, kitchen stocked well & furniture great. We liked the tile floor because it was easy to sweep up sand.That said the cleaning company The Islanderuses was terrible The toilet was full of mold. If I was the owners ofUnit 604 I would be very upset as it is a reflection on them. The cleanliness was not their fault.

Excellent Experience !!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is amazing, we will MOST definately come back here to visit this beautiful beach! The condo was so beautiful, has everything you may need to cook in kitchen, which honestly is a much better option than going to these over rated expensive restaraunts that have a 2-3 hr wait.But this resort and the beach are worth the trip. Very accomodating place. They have convenient shopping carts and luggage carts that make unloading easy. Theres an elevator in the lobby, 2 pools. Overall very happy with this experience. The price for the location and proximity to the beach to me seemed very reasonable and accesible.You also have included two seats on the beach with umbrella per room.Wifi included, TV's come with Roku and had access to netflix.There's other apps on Roku but we didn't try them since we out enjoying the beach and pool 😎.Overall nice experience !

Relaxing reset

It was a nice condo. It wasnt the one inreserved. The property management apparently switched us to another condo per the owners request. That was fine but no one bothered to communicate that with us until I boticed the condo number change and had to reach out to make sure everything was okay. Eventually the property management answered me and explained. I have uet to hear anything back from the owners. Then when we got there we discovered that the batteries in our door lock had died and we xouldnt lock our condo if we left. Luckily the front desk lady was helpful and she called maintenance and my handy husband was able to follow his directions over the phone to get it fixed. After that it was smooth sailing though. The condo was and clean and we had a nice relaxing vscation. We really enjoyed the 2 complimentary beach chairs and Allen the chair attendant was great. You should give him a raise! All in all we had a great time and would come back again. Thanks Islander!!
