tub mat would have been good. The tub was slippery when wet. I put a hand towel in it so we would not slip. We loved the house. I think my daughter took the garbage out, not sure. The snow was a nice bonus. I did grow up in that area and was not expecting snow.

This was the worst VRBO we've stayed at. Took a chance at a lower priced property and definitely learned a lesson. The first time we pulled up we were greeted by a giant rat coming out of the garage. The house is not kept up and needs some work.- light in bathroom shower goes off and on constantly- front screen door doesn't close- blinds over big window in family room don't open, blinds throughout the house are missing slats- basement bedroom is at least 10 degrees cooler than upstairs. Family in upstairs bedrooms were hot, wife and I were freezing. No damper on the AC vent to close it off.- the house was dirty. Cooktop was filthy. We washed all plates and silverware before using. Spider webs abound.- Only had 3 full size forks and 2 dessert forks for the 5 of us.- One washcloth per person for a 5 day/4 night stay. 4 bath towels in total. I took one for the team and used the towel that was the size of a bath mat.- Not enough toilet paper for a family of 5. Got a spare roll from a friend.- soap was the size of a chicklet packet/virtually unusable, and soft hand soap was basically water- The roof must be leaking because the ceiling in a couple of places was wet and tiny bugs had accumulated there - including over the kitchen sink. Gutters have trees sprouting in them.- The garage is a disaster - broken and chewed through siding.- Couch cushion is all cut up- The yard is embarrassing and had trash in it- Pics look great but aren't representative of reality

My daughter wedding trip

We arrived to a filthy house. Our trip lost its magic from the first step into the home. There were dishes in the sink, trash on kitchen floor, and the trash can was full. There were ants all over the house. The girls dresses we were fixing eventually had ants from hanging in the doorway. Two of the three bedrooms were not cleaned and two of us had to sit on the sofa most of the first night. There were dirty was cloths in the hallway and the bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom was dirty and unacceptable for use without us cleaning it first. The front porch leaked due to 3 days of rain and to avoid getting my hair wet; the steps had to be avoided. The host was less than apologetic and was unwilling to reimburse me more than 50 dollars despite the daily rate of more than 200 dollar with an additional cleaning fee
noting his desire to make money versus concern himself with customer satisfaction. The neighborhood seemed safe and the house was structurally good. I have been at numerous homes all over the country and have never encountered this kind of mess or such an unkind host. The host had the home cleaned the next day but with germs we were already exposed.

Terrible experience

Upon arrival I was not provided a code to unlock the property. After calling the host I was provided the code and when I entered the property it was not clean, there were feces on the bathroom floor in the basement, the beds were not made, the kitchen was not clean, the bathrooms were not clean, the trash was not emptied, there were dirty towels on the floor, the screen door was broken the furniture was torn,tattered and old, and the floors were not swept or mopped. The property did not look like the pictures at all. The hot water was turned off right after we arrived, so we did not have hot water at all due to a leak in the water tank. As the night progressed, the toilet upstairs was flushed which caused feces to come up in the drain in the downstairs bathroom and water flowed to the other area of the basement. We were unable to check in at 4:00 due to the property not being clean, and it took an hour for the cleaning crew to show up, causing us to have to go out to dinner to pass time while the house was being cleaned. The lawn was unkempt, the screen was broken and coming off the hinges. Overall it was a horrific experience while we were trying to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16. The host and owner were aware of the issues and did not inform us prior to arrival and the host did not answer calls and texts in a timely fashion.

Great location & sleeps 8 comfortably. Expect the bare minimum with towels, kitchen essentials, etc. Various broke items. It was fine with a group of friends, felt like a college house again.
