We stayed in a cottage it was spacious and we had a balcony. Forest view birds chirping in the morning and the sun streaming in perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and lots of choices. Activities throughout the day. Infinity pool spectacular views of the mountains. The property has a spice garden and tea garden you walk through. They have a bonfire each night with dancing it was fun. I will be coming to this resort again and highly recommend it.
The staff were so friendly, lots of activities to do on the resort itself. The rooms were beautifully spacious and the spa was to die for. We enjoyed our stay so much.
Everything else is great other than the approach road and insects around the cottages because property is situated on a hill and it is full of greenery. First we thought we won't be able to take our car to the property as slope was steep and then when we got the room, there were signs to alert us abt not keeping shoes or anything outside the roos as insects may take shelter. So if you don't want all this trouble, 1. Ask for higher floor rooms 2. Ask them to help with taking the car to the property and their staff is very helpful. Rest all very good
Noise cancelling was missing but would visit again
Beautiful place and good condition. Noise cancelling was not true, we could hear the hallway, the community room above us and the neighbours pretty loudly. Staff often didnt speak english or misunderstood us frequently, but they were all friendly.
A lot of families were there with children, i imagined it as an adult oriented resort, but if you have kids, probably this is also a good place for you.
The location of the property is amazing, and the jacuuzi is a nice touch.
But the service could you use improvement. The television remote in the room wasnt working. The sheets were stained. But when requested for room service, the staff were timely and changed the sheets and fixed the TV remote promptly.
On the second day, we requested room cleaning but the staff forgot to replace hand towels in our bathroom and the newly replaced sheets had stain again.
The dine in experience was average, half the time, the staff couldnt tender to our beverage needs since the kitchen was busy and certain buffet items were not refilled on time.
Overall average experience, there are rooms for improvement in multiple areas. Not what I expected.
You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful.
The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews.
The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is).
The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst the trees. There was no one overlooking us, and I think that is the case on most of the rooms.
The staff were very friendly. They helped arrange a tour for us. It does seem that most guests arrange their own driver and tours. I would suggest contacting the hotel before for a list of the sites to see nearby (tea plantation, waterfalls, spice gardens, chocolate factories, etc)... The list is a single page and you would be able to plan your own visits with the driver who takes you to the hotel.
The property is very good, nice ambiance. The rooms were pretty good with all facilities. Maintenance of swimming pool was average. Food was good. The biggest drawback was the expectation that we will have good mountain view but was disappointed due to lot of trees around the property which blocks the views. The way to the property was quite steep and need a trained driver.
