Enjoy sunsets on the bay in this 5 bedroom (5th bedroom is sitting room with sofa bed) 4 full bath home with pool, hot tub and roof top deck and outdoor shower. ONLY 1.5 blocks to the beach and steps to the bay with plenty of parking. Located in the heart of Dewey Beach on a quiet street across from the community park and a short walk to the marina and many of the famous Dewey restaurants and bars. Want to spend some time in Rehoboth Beach and enjoy the boardwalk, amusement rides, games, shopping and awesome restaurants? The jolly Trolley stop, a short block from the house, will take you to Rehoboth and drop you off at the stop of your choice. No need to worry about parking. Our home offers plenty of parking. Once you arrive feel free to park your car for the week and walk to many of the amenities Dewey Beach has to offer. Our newly built home sleeps 17 and features an open kitchen, dining and great room along with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a pool, hot tub, outdoor shower and an awesome rooftop deck with loft for entertaining and fabulous views of the bay and the ocean. This is a beautiful property. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub especially. The location was great, commmunication with owner was very good.The biggest negative was the air conditioning system was locked at 70 degrees. It got very warm, especially upstairs where we slept. Fans would have been a nice addition. We hope to return again.

Excellent location to beach and bay. The house was very clean and the pool was a plus. The only thing is the 5th bedroom or sleeping area is very noisy within the house. Overall a very great house would recommend again and would stay again.

28th Annual Beach Week

Our family of 10, (part of a group of 54), had a great time. The property was exactly as described. The pool was a definite bonus as the ocean was taken over by jellyfish. The only downside was the distance to the beach, (had to cross the busy street), but we knew that coming in.

Great family vacation

Had a group of 16 family members. 9 kids 16-24 and 7 adults. Plenty of parking. Great location. Home is beautiful. Spoke with host several times during my stay with quick response to any issues that arose. Pool and hot tub were an amazing amenity. Will definitely be back to stay again.

July vacation 2023

House was very nice and well maintained. The kitchen was very well equipped. We all loved the pool and hot tub. Was very nice to jump into after spending the day at the beach. Location was perfect being able to walk to dining, ice cream, and the bars. I just wish the 5th bedroom was a true bedroom. If our son and daughter in law had been able to come they would have had to sleep on a sofa bed in a loft with no door.

This house was perfect for our large family. It was very clean on arrival, instructions were clear and the host was responsive to a question we had about garbage pickup. There was ample parking for four cars but we only needed to go out once, for a large grocery order because we were so close to shops and restaurants. We loved the numerous balconies and the upper deck was the best location for viewing the spectacular July 4 fireworks celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, great place!

House was modern and clean. Pool was great to have and I love the location. It's a 4 bedroom, not 5 so I feel like the listing was misleading with one family having to sleep on a pullout with no door or privacy.

Hayden house

House nicely furnished, beds comfortable, kitchen stocked nicely, on the newer side but could use a paint job soon. Park across street great for kids and public dock for fishing and crabbing steps away. Hot tub wonderful!! Pool nice but not heated and cold. Pool in the shade all afternoon. TV service basic with no children’s channels available. Awesome decks but no outside eating area with a table that hold more than four people.

Beautiful home and great location

Enjoyed a one week family reunion with plenty of room for 16 adults.This home was very clean not to mention plenty of bathrooms and showers.The best part was that some of us went to the beach, some stayed in the pool ,a few were fishing at the bay and others were hanging at the brewery. Rehobeth was close enough to go back-and-forth for great shopping and dining

Dewey Beach vacation home

Overall we had a nice vacation at the Hayden Rd. house in Dewey Beach. Property description says sleeps 17 but there are really only 4 bedrooms and one of those is a bunkbed room. We were 7 adults and 3 kids and still someone had to sleep on pullout couch. It would be very cramped with 17. Bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds. Our check in time was delayed an hour because I never received the text with door code until I was able to reach owner by phone. Pool was very nice but we were half way through week when filtering system had a meltdown and pool drained about 2 feet. It took a day to fix. The owner was helpful when I spoke to her by phone. The grill was pretty gross - looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. We had to go to store for a propane tank on 2nd day there. It would have been nice if there had been a 2nd tank on hand or we had a way to contact the the property manager directly when issues arose. Kitchen had plenty of utensil and dinnerware. We did buy a broom since it was easier than carrying the vacuum cleaner up and down all those stairs! Left the broom there! Loved all the decks off each level of the house especially the top deck with the pergola.

Great for our family of 10!

This property was nicely laid out and easy to access the beach and all that Dewey offers was within walking distance. The home was clean when we arrived. The space was clearly designed with the intention to be a family beach home. We LOVED the pool deck and the outdoor fridge! I gave the listing 4 stars for accuracy as it's listed as a 5 bedroom but its really 4 bedrooms and a seating area with a pull out couch. The house could sleep 17, but I think it would be very uncomfortable. To sleep 17 you would need to have 5 people in the bunk room, one on a roll out bed - we couldn't figure out where there was room to even open this bed except in the laundry room - two on the couch in the living room, two on the couch in the "den" and one more on a roll out bed somewhere on the 3rd floor. It would be very cramped, but it could be done. The only improvements I could suggest would be to leave out a broom and dust pan (there was a mop but no broom) for guests to be able to keep up with the sand that they will inevitably bring into the house and a small handheld skimmer to keep up with pool debris. Overall the place is great and depending on how many people are able to come on our vacation next year we would love to stay again!

100 Hayden review

This was an excellent property !!! Absolutely beautiful and very clean. You could see the love put into it. We wish it had a broom and dust pan and also all bathrooms didn’t have a garbage can. Beyond that, it was perfect. Also an instruction sheet in the house would be helpful with info on garbage day and recycling containers vs. garbage containers. Thank you so much. You’ve built a beautiful home with very nice interior decorating. 😊
