Schwenden in the Diemtigtal lies at 1200 m above sea level and can be reached in about 20 minutes from the Wimmis motorway. Schwenden/Grimmialp is a quiet scattered settlement away from the major tourist destinations. Peace, relaxation, nature and marvellous mountain panoramas are guaranteed here.

There is a bakery with some dairy products in the neighbouring village of Zwischenflüh (10 minutes by car),
