many a visitor to Dingle has passed through the doors of this welcoming home in the heart of Dingle, in its former life as a family-run BandB. Now available to rent as a whole house, it thrums with the echoes of history, whispering its stories through vintage touches, elegantly updated for its new vocation. A rare find indeed, with most rooms en suite, and a spacious mature garden, right in the centre of Dingle town.

Hallway

Entering through the porch and double doors, the hallway features a door-height decorative floral stained glass panel, bringing in light and echoes of the garden from outside.

Living Room

Elegant blue grey couches offer a comfortable resting place in this cosy room, with wooden floors and original fireplace, the perfect spot to reflect on the day’s adventures. A vintage sideboard full of china from the house’s past life as a guest house sets the mind a-wandering to all the travellers’ tales that have been shared and friendships forged over cups of tea between these walls.

Dining Room

Light-filled and spacious, the dining room is a treasure trove of eclectic style. Its plantation-style wooden shutters, intricate parquet and lush indoor plants lend it an old-world caribbean air. The capacious dining table easily seats 10 for gatherings that will live on in treasured memories for years to come. French doors ensure the room is light-filled and bright, showing off the captivating mix of antique and vintage furnishings.

Kitchen

Meander through a rounded arch from the dining room, and a glorious surprise awaits in the chic design choices of this newly renovated kitchen, with a feature wall in a restful lilac shade complementing the deep green units with brass handles, and marble effect countertops; the overall effect is delightful.

The fully equipped kitchen includes convenient pull-out larder shelving, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, full size fridge-freezer with integrated bottle rack, electric hob and oven.


Bedrooms

As a former BandB, Kirrary is a rare gem with most bedrooms in the house en suite. Plantation shutters in all the rooms let in lots of light when open, while maintaining privacy.

Bedroom 1, downstairs, although not wheelchair accessible, is ideal for a guest who may have some mobility issues. It boasts stylish wall panelling, a great big superking-size bed, and a fully tiled en suite with double width shower unit fitted with a grab rail and electric shower.

Upstairs are five more bedrooms, two doubles, both en suite and one single bedroom.

Bathrooms

The main family bathroom upstairs is fully tiled in a very stylish slate tile, with an electric shower.

All four en suite shower rooms are fully tiled with electric showers.

Outdoor Spaces

A generous mature west-facing garden sits to the side of the house. Completely enclosed, it offers the perfect space for kids to play, for dinners in the evening sun, or retreating from the hustle and bustle of the town.

To the back of the house is an enclosed yard, with French doors from the dining room – so convenient for barbecues.

There is also an outdoor utility room with washing machine, dryer, an extra fridge freezer and toilet. Fitted with a shower inside and a hose outside, it’s the ideal spot for washing off sandy toes and surfboards and storing watersports equipment.

Parking is on street only, outside the front gate.

Wonderful home in an ideal location

We really enjoyed our stay in the Kirrary Townhouse. The home was beautiful, very spacious, and clean. It had all of the amenities we needed and everything functioned well. We didn't sit outside in the garden, but it was lovely and well cared for.The home was perfectly located in the center of town, and a well-stocked SuperValu market is right around the corner. Our teenage boys enjoyed exploring the town on their own both during the day and at night.A special thanks to our house manager Fionnuala for her outstanding communication and warm welcome!

Wonderful townhouse in the heart of Dingle. So much space with all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen, living room and dining room and the garden area is a delight to explore. Wish we could have had more time to just enjoy the house but so much to see and do in the area. Easy communication with our host and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Home at The Kirrary House

It is always a delight to stay at The Kirrary House. It feels like coming home, as it’s so comfortable with all the amenities. The location couldn’t be better - easy walking distance to everything in Dingle and just steps away from great shopping and delicious food. We have been staying here for almost a decade and love returning!

Nice old townhouse in a good central location. The rooms are small but clean and functional. Good responsiveness from the house manager when the kettle broke. The kitchen is not suitable to cook for a large group but fine for breakfast and snacks. Overall very pleasant stay.

Lovely Home, Best Location in Dingle

We have just returned from our third delightful stay at The Kirrary House. Over the years, we have visited with friends and family members and ALL have loved their stay in delightful Dingle. The home is comfortable and spacious. Being in the center of town makes it easy to walk everywhere and to enjoy the shops, restaurants, pubs, and sights. Our host, Fionnuala, was so welcoming, helpful and responsive. She communicated before, during and after our stay and made sure we were well cared for and comfortable. We highly recommend staying at The Kirrary House, as it is a lovely home away from home!

KIRRARY Townhouse

This was the perfect townhouse for our group! We loved our stay! The location was ideal. Within walking distance to amazing restaurants, wonderful shops, local pubs with traditional Irish music and gorgeous harbor. We had an AMAZING house manager, Fionnuala!! She went above and beyond!! I reached out to Fionnuala when my brother in law's luggage was lost for additional three days due to flights being cancelled and rescheduled several times! Since we were dealing with the airlines (very frustrating) they could not give us the exact time of delivery. The luggage was arriving before our stay. Fionnuala waited at the townhouse, gathered our luggage and kept me and our group updated during all the chaos! Thank you, Fionnuala!!!
