Maybe short-staffed that day?

I experienced a series of mild disappointments: 1) the building was undergoing exterior renovations but only in portions, however, I was assigned a room in the construction zone. There was plastic sheeting over my window, and at 9:00 am, while I was on a videoconference, the construction work started causing me to retreat to my car to finish the meeting. 2) The breakfast bar had limited offerings, and what was there was not fully stocked: no milk for the cereal, no syrup for the waffles, the cranberry juice was out of juice. One patron went to find help and failed on his first trip. On his second try he reported that he found "them" but I didn't wait around to see if they were prompt in their response as I had a meeting to run off too. Still, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, and the price was right.

The swimming pool was very nice and fun for the kids. However, there were no blankets for the pull-out couch and only one pillow. There was no extra toilet paper and not enough towels and wash cloths for six people. This room had two queen beds and a pull-out couch (for six people). It seems to have decreased in quality service over the years.

The front desk staff was not present. The room was smelly and rug very soiled. I asked for room deoridizer. The linen although appeared clean had a odor. The overall condition of the property was poorly maintained. Although I have stayed there in the past, I will not return.
