$Million dollar Pacific spectacular ocean view from our custom built home with Largest Waterslide Infinity Edge Pool in Uvita Area and less than 1/2 mile as the Toucan flies from the Ocean. 2025 NEW Improved Public Road,Privacy on our 13 acres with 35 foot waterfall and only 2.5 miles to shopping, restaurants and bank plus added security of caretaker on grounds (separate house near gate). Our 3,600 sf Kincaid design home has ocean views from every room including master suite shower. Home is surrounded by exotic gardens with over 500 tropical flowering plants and fruit trees. All furniture is custom made ,several wood carvings ,custom Italian Tile work throughout. Good wireless Internet.

This house was Kincaid designed to fit this most spectacular homesite which many say ( including internet provider) has the most incredible oceanviews to be found in all of Costa Rica. A car with 4x4 low is necessary to access all the properties in the international subdivision we are located in. Our house being the closest to Uvita by road.

Grounds and house are meticulously maintained by our gardener/maintenance man who works on property from 7AM -3PM. You can request total privacy.

Nous avons rĂ©servĂ© et payĂ© pour 4 semaines Nous sommes parti aprĂšs 3 semaines Le desciptif bien que venant d etre modifiĂ© ne correspond pas Ă  la rĂ©alitĂ©: C'est une maison pour 6 personnes et pas 8. A 8 un couple d'amis a du dormir sur un lit d appoint dans la cuisine!! Il n'y a aucun accĂšs toilette en dehors des chambres. Passage incessant de 4*4 et quad devant la maison, donc aucune intimitĂ©e . Le mĂ©nage n'est pas compris dans la location, il vous en coĂ»tera un pourboire obligatoire suivant le nombre de personnes sinon le mĂ©nage n'est pas fait (pour nous ça a Ă©tĂ© une fois en 3 semaines !!). Nous sommes arrivĂ© Ă  l'heure pour le check in (16 HEURE) et avons du attendre 3 heures car le mĂ©nage n'Ă©tait pas fini Le propriĂ©taire nous a donnĂ© aucun conseil pour visiter la rĂ©gion visiblement il ne la connaĂźt pas vraiment Tout le materiell de la maison est vieillissant et tombe rĂ©gulierement en panne (nous avons eu toutes les pannes!!) l Ă©tat de propretĂ© de la maison, meme Ă  l'arrivĂ©e est vraiment trĂšs limite Le couple de gardiens est carrement parti en vacances pendant 8 jours pendant notre sĂ©jour.!!!! .Attention la maison n'est pas accessible si vous ĂȘtes en fauteuil (aucun amĂ©nagement) Le fait d ĂȘtre dans la foret ne justifie pas la prĂ©caritĂ© de la maison On dĂ©conseille vivement cette maison.

superbe villa parmi les toucans, les papillons et les singes. Une vue et un jardin exceptionnels !

Le site requiert un 4x4 pour y acceder et par la suite c'est avec un confort remarquable que la villa propose piscine, vue sur la mer et la foret et surtout jardin accueillant papillons et toucans ainsi que singes et autres animaux sauvages. Un ravissement de tous les instants ! L'accueil est chaleureux et tout est fonctionnel dans la villa.

It was an amazing trip. The pictures don't do the property justice and Del and Jeison were wonderful hosts. Loved being there, opening the four doors to the pool so the air could flow thru the entire house and just do our thing. The first trip up the mountain was intimidating but after the first time it was a piece of cake, even in dark and rain. Make sure you get a great 4x4 car... I ended up with a Toyota Land Cruiser (my request was a Prado) and it was a super impressive vehicle. We loved all the food we had (we went to Mystic Sushi 3 times!), the excursions we did (whale watching and waterfall tours), and the beaches were incredible... better than expected! Playa Hermosa was our go-to beach and it had amazing 6-14 ft waves the first day and the second day there were easily a few 18 foot waves... ones that as they are coming in you just begin laughing because you know it's going to just wipe you out! Amazing stay, highly recommended! Thanks again!

Beautiful house and property with cool breezes all day and night! We loved this house and our week in Uvita. It's got everything you need, and if you stumble upon anything you don't have the caretaker that lives a few minutes away will have it there in second. We felt very safe, and loved all the birds and wildlife. We even had a sloth hanging in a tree right by the pool. We became experts on driving the road and did so many wonderful things that Del recommended. Our highlight was probably the mangrove kayak tour.

Amazing house! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay in. The house is amazing! Having five bedrooms really makes it convenient for a bigger family to avoid trying to figure out who’s rooming with who.The property is beautiful, the house is beautiful, and the pool was perfect and great for cooling off or having family time in the evening with the large table next to the pool.

Absolutely amazing stay at Del Congos. Del, Patty and our host Adrian were treasures in so many ways. We have never been better accommodated. Adrian speaks beautiful English and was a wealth of information and a perfect Tico ambassador. The property is stunning. Comfortable, huge kitchen, bedrooms were thoughtfully designed to maximize air flow and comfort during the night.The pool with the slide and view of the famous "Whale's Tail" was incredible.Del and Patty arrived mid-week to start a stay at one of their adjacent properties. They were wonderful, warm, friendly and another great local resource. Del even helped me find a fairly large quantity of my favourite coffee from a local plantation. It felt like we had found new friends.A most enjoyable stay. Pura Vida!Rob & Cindy

road was a little rough but was graded after a few days so 4 wheel is needed ..some steep inclines but remember you are at a higher elevation the drive is worth it .....Dell the owner was a great help has a 4 wheel drive at the property for rent.. also can make arrangements to pick your party at san jose airport and trans back too..he is worth talking with as he is very helpfull any plans you may have....

Del Congos is breathtaking!

We had a terrific stay at Del Congos and words can't describe the beauty and gorgeous views surrounding the property! Our two kids ages 9 and 7 spent many hours playing in the pool and using the gorgeous waterslide (and parents too!). We also enjoyed many meals outside near the pool and lounging or reading books in the hammock. We had an amazing time on several tours that Del recommended including horseback riding at Rancho La Merced, a visit by boat to beautiful Corcovado National Park (saw 2 pumas, countless monkeys, wild pigs, a tapir, scarlet macaws, toucans, crocodiles, among many other jungle flora and fauna), and last but not least a mangrove tour out of Sierpe (we saw many crocs, birds, iguanas, a boa hanging out in a tree over the river, and monkeys galore). Del was very instrumental in helping us choose these wonderful activities and guiding us away from overly touristy places which we wanted to avoid. We recommend renting one of Del's personal cars as it was so important to have a solid 4WD vehicle to navigate the road to Del Congos and I don't think the airport rentals would be quite as powerful. The house is amazing and Adrian, the caretaker, is extremely nice and helpful. We highly recommend a trip to Del Congos in Uvita and take Del up on all his recommendations! Don't hesitate, just book it!

What a View!

We were a group of three adult females visiting Costa Rica for the first time. The house, property and pool are beautiful. I highly suggest allowing Del to schedule your transportation and excursions. All were flawless. The transportation to and from the airport was worth every penny. Don't be intimidated by the driveway. We rented the car from Del and once Adrian showed us how to navigate the driveway, it was no problem at all, even in the rain and dark. We saw lots of birds, had daily visits from agouti and coatimundi that we enjoyed watching.

Family vacation

Second time staying in Uvita - this time with our boys, ages 12 and 17. Del's property is a beautiful paradise respite. Do beware, power outages can be a slight hinderance. It's par for the course up in those hills. We had several, mostly in the evening, and lasting a few hours. However, we were not deterred! Candles and a gas grill made all the difference. We were able to cook and clean and enjoy the night time jungle sights (lots of fireflies) and sounds without worry. Adrian, the property manager, lives on site just a stone's throw from the casa. He was always quick to check in and keep us posted. He's also very friendly and courteous and prompt when you need help with anything. We enjoyed walking the property grounds with him and learning more about the area. Additionally, Del was VERY helpful with booking tours for us and checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay... And, as many others have commented - the road is steep, but with the right vehicle, you won't have any issues. The only regret from our 17 year old son was that he couldn't drive it himself (due to his age and rental car rules). :) Overall, we loved our time there. Pura vida!

The house was everything we wanted! Stunning views with total privacy! And of course everyone wants it to be peaceful 
 the only noise was from the critters & birds in the jungle 
 very unique sounds 
 just loved it! We were lucky enough to see a Toucan right at the house but sadly no Monkeys. All-in-all bugs not bad but do watch out for the spiders. Landscape and gardens were absolutely beautiful. Oh and the pool was so refreshing with stunning views while floating on our rafts (worth bringing)! We also enjoyed using sliding board 
 it was so fun😆. It’s a very safe place 
 we always left shutting the front door but every other door and windows were left open. There is a safe in the bathroom cabinet (which is not mentioned in the info packet at the house). We put our passports and extra money in there. Adrian (the property manager) reassured us that we didn’t need to worry even with passing neighbors “no one would enter the house” and he was right! I just want to emphasize how Adrian was always available to answer all of our questions and he was very helpful and made some awesome suggestions. Communication with Del was also great & very helpful! Thank you both!! One activity we highly recommend which isn’t far from the house 
 just a ride down the mountain 
 Uvita Paradise Adventures what a blast! As comments have been made previously, just be prepared for the ride up the mountain to the house! It’s worth the extra money to stay and spoil oneself here!

Wonderful!

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Del's place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen well stocked for anyone wishing to prepare meals. The view of the Whale Tail from the second floor master bedroom is spectacular and Adrian the care taker is so helpful. The drive up the mountain as others have mentioned is interesting but definitely worth it! Will definitely stay again next time in the Uvita area!

Just book it!

You found it! Just book it! Everything was amazing! The view down is as good as the listing says. The pool and back patio area are perfect for relaxing while at the house. Uvita and Dominical are nice small towns with great grocery stores. The national park service beaches in Uvita are great natural beaches. The host was very helpful and offered anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!!

We loved our stay in Uvita! Kids got plenty of use from the water slide. Perfect views and wonderful onsite property manager. *Master suite is upstairs and is the only room with air conditioning.

Magnificent!

Del was absolutely amazing. Prior to leaving the US he spent countless calls with us arranging the actuvities we would do while at his property. The fishing guide was PERFECT. The property alone was perfection but arriving to a delicious home cooked meal was out of this world service!! The caretaker Alicia was so wonderful and sweet! I cant recommend this place enough! Thanks Del!

Great time

We had a great time and the house was perfect for our family vacation. Edgar was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The road to the property is intense as other reviews indicated but the view is spectacular. Uvita is a beautiful place to visit!

Views not worth the drama

The views from the house are beautiful. Edgar, the gentleman who helped with check-in and problems we had at the house, was kind, caring, and professional. However, Del, the person who we corresponded with before our arrival was rude and his customer service left much to be desired. His unkind manner was unfortunate. The road to the house is truly difficult and can be dangerous during rainy season. For context, we live in Costa Rica and have a 4x4 vehicle. We still got stuck on the drive to the house. Only ATVs, dirt bikes, and one work truck were on the road. By luck, the work truck had 6 very kind men who stopped and all pushed our car to help us along the way. We were told by those men to be very careful on the road when it rains in the afternoon (and it rains every afternoon). As a result, we only went into town in the morning. This was extremely limiting in our ability to explore Uvita, enjoy live music in the evenings, or go out for dinner. Driving up the road was always stressful. The house has beautiful views. However, half the lights downstairs did not work. Only the upstairs master bathroom had towels or toilet paper - none of the downstairs bathrooms were prepared for guests. We had to ask for a second bedroom to have sheets put on the bed - the other bedroom had a mattress covered with a blanket. The house could not be less inviting. It seemed like the host only wanted us to use the master bedroom and bathroom (but we rented the entire house). We ended up leaving the house a day/night early. The road was so limiting and the house was not welcoming. It honestly felt like Del did not want us to be there. (Again, Edgar was very nice.) Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone use this property.

Amazing property

This house was a slice of heaven!! You really felt as if you were living in an oasis in the middle of the jungle/rain forest. The views are breathtaking of the whale tail. My son loved the pool slide!! We even took a little family hike during our stay to take in our surroundings. The lights did go out our last night while I was cooking, but thank goodness there was a bbq pit and my hubby finished cooking our dinner
 That was the only challenge but that’s normal in Costa Rica. The other challenge was getting to the property, but we called the owner and he had Alex meet up with us to guide us the rest of the way
 After the first day my hubby knew his way up and down the mountain and around town. My family and I will definitely be back..

All about the view for us!

Waking up to looking over the trees and down upon the small city was amazing. It is very high up a mountain so the drive is very steep(bumpy!) and the road is mainly dirt till you reach near the actuall house. The hot water is ran off propane and only one shower can be ran at a time, also tou can't have any of the appliances going while someone is showering. Lots of animals and bugs! There are extremely small sugar ants that are just simply everywhere in every room. The property has fruit trees and beautiful flowers and the beds were comfortable. The main bedroom is the only room in the house with AC. At the bottom of the driveway there is a cute little breakfast spot, Esmeralda. Alex was very helpful and always replies in a timely manner. Over all it is a beautiful tropical house!
