Hotel with a good view

Great night at the hotel but rather surprised at having to pay for parking, especially as we were attending an event at the hotel as well as staying over.

Was better last time we stopped last year

Was ok stopped last year and had a much better stay this time.we had loud music until half 12 at night and drunks running up the hallway banging on the doors late into the morning and pillow wernt that great really thin so was hard to get to sleep so we were quite tired this morning

Check in ok although there was some confusion as to whether or not we had booked breakfast. Did send an email regarding booking evening meal but never got a response. Staff friendly and helpful. Need more choice on menu

The location, cleanliness of room and service from the staff was good. However felt let down and disappointed as neither my husband and l didn’t experience a good night sleep. Every movement made turning or sitting on the bed it creaked the whole time. The room was designed for a wheelchair assisted person. We are able bodied people. It was brought to staff on duty attention an apology given and reassurance was given it would be addressed. An additional made by the staff member implied because the booking was made through Expedia that’s why we were given this wheelchair access room which was not appropriate explanation because no such request was ever made.

My favourite racecourse adjacent hotel. I would have liked a view of the course rather than the car park. Breakfast at least had a great view of the track - and soft scrambled eggs(hurrah).
