The location of this hotel is excellent…right next to train station. Staff was helpful and breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. I took away one star because hotel listing says they have a gym. The do NOT have a gym. They have some dumbbells and yoga mats in a tiny corner of the sauna and the space does not open until 3pm.

Medium Quality Hotel, but nice big rooms
Posted Nov. 13, 2023 on HotelsThe room itself was comfortable, large with separate seating area and good desk and workspace, and suited me well for a 4 day work trip. Whilst there is a tea and coffee station at reception, no kettle or cups provided in the room, which irritates me. I dont want to have to get dressed and go downstairs for a hot drink first thing in the morning. Everything else provided was bare minimum basics. The room was generally clean, but the arm of the sofa, where it met the seat back was literally thick with dust.
Breakfast was basic but ok - no other options better nearby though.

We would recommend the junior suite or the apartment room. These rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine, a tea station and welcome water. NH Dortmund is a located in a key place to move around the city, giving you access to the train lines. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Best hotel

Staff was really friendly and good!!!
I needed a crib and an extra bed and they were very prompt and solve everything easily!!!
