Maison du Lac - Villa with pool located next to Lac d'Annecy
The villa is situated at the south end of Lac d'Annecy at Bout du Lac close to Doussard and is available for rental most of the year.
There are 5 bedrooms – 3 doubles (one downstairs with an en suite bathroom) and two twin. This provides capacity for 10 people. Two of the upstairs bedrooms share a front balcony and have a good view of the lake. There is a large veranda on the front of the house, to enjoy the best of the lake and mountain views. The lounge is equipped with UK and French TV and Home Theatre System.
The 8 X 4m covered swimming pool usually runs at 26 to 28 deg in the summer and is available from May to October. The large terrace has the sun all day. There is a large garden and spacious parking inside the property which accommodates 6 cars and a boat.
Although the area is renowned for its scenic views, there is the possibility to pursue many sporting activities. These include a range of water sports on Lake Annecy including water ski-ing, wake-boarding, sailing (with special classes for juniors to learn sailing), rowing etc. Within 10 minutes walking there are beaches and the harbour where ski boats can be moored. Typical cost for mooring, gate entrance pass and car parking sticker is 85 Euro per week and can be reserved in weekly block's Saturday to Saturday.
A cycle path runs behind the house which runs directly into Annecy and has now been extended to circuit the lake. For the more adventurous there are road routes within easy reach which are used for the Tour de France.
Please note that the house is strictly non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Groups of family/friends are welcome but we do not cater for groups of young adults. A party size greater than 10 people including children is only by prior agreement. In that case, a further double bedroom can be provided. The property is secured by a Verisure alarm system.
The property is not adapted for the needs of disabled people.
Stay taxes or local 'taxes de sejour' are included in the rental payment.
