Private log Cabin rental 1 hour west of Edmonton
2 bedroom. One private room with door and the other is a loft. 2 queen beds, wood fired hot tub, woodstove, swimming pond, kayaks, canoe. Outdoor fire pit with games, walking trails and open year round. Ice skating, snow shoeing, pond hockey in the winters.

One of a kind escape, perfect for romantic getaways or bringing the whole family.

Kitchen comes with all cookware, just bring drinks and food/condiments, Also has a barbecue for use.

Sleeps 4, will allow more at $50 per person per night.

Pet friendly $25 per stay, per dog. They MUST stay off the furniture and clean up after them. Mandatory fee, no exceptions.

Check-in is at 3pm, check out is 11am. No Wifi, no TV.

Such a cozy cabin tucked away in rural Alberta. It was perfect for our winter getaway where we just wanted to hunker down. The skating pond and wood-fired hot tub were top notch for winter activities.Chris was such an amazing host who took the time to make sure we were comfortable. Extra points for pulling us out of the snow bank we slid into on our way there! I would definitely recommend this little gem for anyone wanting to escape the city and just enjoy a peaceful retreat!

What a great spot to stay! The host, Chris, was very welcoming and accommodating. The cabin is a little peace of heaven. So peaceful and relaxing and a great place to unwind away from everything! The pond for skating and hot tub were the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back ourselves!

This was the PERFECT setting for my partner and I’s engagement trip. The first time we met was at my cottage in Ontario, a little cottage in the trees. And this cabin gave us all the exact same feelings of comfort, love, and safety that we get from our family cottage in just the short two night stay we had in it. We were VERY WELL taken care of, with the host making his way down to start the hot tub each morning and being clear that we were able to contact him for anything we may need. My new fiancĂ© and I are very thankful for the experience and the memories it has created for us. In terms of the amenities, there are ample towels, tons of wood, board games, and all the kitchen items one may need. The hot tub is BEAUTIFUL to sit in under the stars (p.s keep an eye out for the dippers!), very consistent hot water for the bath (which also has a shower head attachment to rinse off which was a huge plus), and a sweet kitty friend who comes to visit made us smile non-stop. Thank you for having us, we would come back in a heart beat.

The cabin and property was absolutely gorgeous. My friend and I totally loved the place. The hot tub was beautiful and very relaxing. The ducks were a highlight for us and the pond was perfect for a little paddle. The wildlife was a big treat for us to- some moose and deer. We would definitely go back again. And a big thank you to Chris our host who made the weekend perfect.

This private cabin is nestled perfectly in the wooded area. Looking out over the pond is beautiful. The hottub is amazing. We enjoyed walking the trails, seeing the stars and got to see a magical show of the northern lights. It's incredibly peaceful and a great way to disconnect and relax.

It was honestly a trip of a lifetime. Our kids (6 &3) had such an amazing time. Kayaking, playing in the sand, roasting marshmallows and enjoying all nature has to offer. We couldn’t be happier, such a wholesome experience.

Really enjoyed staying here, very private and a great mix of lots of activities to entertain yourself or quiet place to read a book. The pond was so nice to swim in and the hot tub to relax in as well. Really well set up, you can tell there was a lot of attention paid to what people actually need when they stay at a cabin. Will definitely make my way back here next year, thanks for having us!

This is a fantastic property with complete privacy .Love the trails in the forest and the manicured yard with the beautiful man made pond
the water is so clear !Wood fired hot tub is a treat and wonderful views of the stars at night..Chris is a very conscientious host and provides great communication 
Burch Forest farm fresh eggs, honey that they obtain from their own beehives , and homemade wine are an excellent “bonus”
“Canadiana “ in its truest form , you can luxuriate in all Bruch Forest has to offer

A slice of heaven. Huge property and very private. The water is like turquoise. The house is crafted with the most beautiful wood. The perfect place to put the electronics away and get away from city life. Love the friendly duck, who we’ve called Gary. Chris is an awesome host, makes sure you have everything you need. Will definitely return next year. Make sure you stop at the butcher shop in Drayton Valley, the best food I've had from one.
