Bayview on Drummond Island

This home has approximately 1325 square feet of living space, with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and an open loft, accommodating up to 8 people. The home was built in 1950 and has been recently enlarged and updated, including a beautiful new bathroom.

Located on the South side of the Island, there are breathtaking views of Lake Huron, and Bootjack and Espanore Islands.

There is a large sliding door in the family room that leads out onto a spacious deck that overlooks the water, as well as windows lining the kitchen and dining area, so you can enjoy the views from inside and out.

One full bathroom on the main floor with a stand-up shower.

Jeeps, Side by Sides and ATVs are welcome, however you must trailer SxSs and ATVs to the trailheads since they are not permitted on M134/Channel Road.

Most windows have no screens; the refrigerator is not very cold even though it was already set on the highest setting and the parking is horrible if you are bringing a SXS or jeep even on a little trailer... My trailer is only 12 ft long and it's hard to turn around unless you go to the end of the road which is a private drive and then the owners are pissed!

Price was high for not being able to use windows in the bedroom’s ( no screens ) very hot at night , screen door had holes in it and by the handle big hole , I put tape over them to keep mosquitoes out and flies , had to wash the pans before I cooked anything they were greasy our overall stay was good. We come to the island every year. I love it there. I’ve never left a review like this before I stayed with Northern properties last year four other times we stayed on the island I went through Drummond Island hotel never had any problems with them either. Northern properties was very great to work with a very helpful and I did inform them when we got there about the no screens.

This was our second family trip to the Island. We love it! So peaceful and everyone has been friendly to our mixed race family and that’s super important because not everywhere we go is so accepting. The house is very cabin in the woods like. I personally love having only the basics while there so it feels like glamping and this cabin is very rustic. The neighbors didn’t bother us and the water is perfect if you like cold water . We kayaked and went swimming and the kids of all ages loved painting, throwing, skipping and finding unique rocks. The only thing that could make it better is a washer/dryer .
