Good location, check in takes too long!

Excellent central location for commutes. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Shame have to wait long for checking in on arrival. Also, have to change lifts and walk in between for going up or downstairs from the hotel rooms.

The hotel overall is quite dated. Good parts: breakfast is amazing, gym is one of the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel, staff are very friendly and room was clean Bad parts: the hotel is right by a massive street so sitting on the terrace is not pleasant as you’re breathing fumes. The pool is very average , it’s just a concrete terrrace and doesn’t invite to really enjoy pool time. Also the shower was so weak, multiple times I only had lukewarm water and barely any water pressure

Excellent hotel and service by all staff members

All staff very helpful. Mehran was very helpful when checking in at the front desk. Gladwell at the reception was also very helpful. Eric and DIAB at the concierge were always courteous and friendly but DIAB went out of his to help with packing our luggage.

Swissotel Al Ghurair

Good location, bang average hotel, Swiming pools were cold, we were told pool heating system was faulty. We were served food different to what was ordered only for the staff member question what we had ordered. Only when I fact check him he acknowledged but wouldn’t rectify implying t would land him in hot water. Not wanting to jeopardise someone’s job we are what was served which was very poor definitely not worth the prices charged. Poor overall many better hotels in the nearby area.
