Room really warm clearly old bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable the room was never hoovered while i stayed

I don’t understand a lot of the reviews on this place. The hotel was quite nice and in a good area. Everything was easily accessible and close by. The bed was super comfortable and cosy, warm too. The bathroom was quite modern and the shower was amazing. The only downfall is that there is a pub/nightclub right underneath, this was fine to sleep to as a lot of the noise was kept to a minimum however, people outside shouting, screaming and singing until 3-4am is not ideal. This cannot be helped by the hotel but I didn’t see it stated anywhere when booking, and was surprised by it when we arrived. We did have the window open as it was quite hot overnight so it may not have been as bad with it closed and if you’re a heavy sleeper then you will be fine also. Other than this the stay was great, the hotel staff are lovely and very accommodating too.

While we are fortunate to have such a convenient central location, there are oftentimes city noises that are out of our control. Had this been mentioned at the time, our 24 hour reception team may have been able to assign a rear facing room depending on our availability, and in any case could have supplied you and your guests with earplugs for a bit more peace and quiet. Next time, if a preference is given in your booking for a quieter room, we can assign you straight away to a rear facing bedroom.It was our absolute pleasure looking after you this time, we do hope to get the opportunity to welcome you back to us again soon with these factors considered. There is a bar on both sides of hotel and the noise is horrible loud music till 2:30am

I would not recommend this hotel.

Definitely the low point of UK and Ireland trip. The pictures do not depict the condition of the hotel or the rooms. This was the most expensive room that we had paid for...with the lowest quality. The picture reflects cute beds and wallpaper in the room, but the rest of the room was in poor condition. Only one of the beds was comfortable and the other two were in such bad shape that I felt sorry for the ones that had to sleep there. The carpet was of poor quality and I felt I needed to wear my shoes. We actually had a stuffed leather chair with no legs against one of the walls and a dirty coffee cup on the desk. The room was hot and stuffy and the noise from the dance club next door and the street was horrendous. I would not recommend this hotel.

Dear Judy Thank you for taking a time in reviewing our property. We are constantly striving to improve the service for our guests so it is your perspective which is essential. I'm very disappointed to read your review about the hotel in general and I regret not being informed about them, as you were informed at check in, reception is open 24 hours and we would have absolutely rectified them for you. The prices we are charging are in conformity with the regulations of Failte Ireland, but Dublin can be quite expensive, especially if there are events going on in the city. Regarding the photos posted on Expedia.com I would like to inform you that all of them reflect the reality of our rooms and surrounding area. However due the differing nature of our accommodation, images displayed are meant as a representative sample only. We have passed on your comments on the cleanliness and faults of the room to our housekeeping and maintenance teams at the hotel so corrective action can be taken and so we can identify ways to continually improve our service. We always want our guests to have a lovely and relaxing time and it is our policy to ensure that we exceed our guests’ expectations. Sadly, we were unable to do the same for you. I hope next time when you come to Dublin you will give us the opportunity to show you our improvements. It will be a great pleasure to accommodate you again. Have a nice day! Kind regards Vanya
