The space
Newly refurbished luxury flat in the historic centre of Inverkeithing. The flat has been refurbished to a very high standard and features, oak floors, oak kitchen, dining area for 6, utility room with separate washing machine and and tumble dryer.

There are two bedrooms.
Bedroom 1- Double bed, two windows, bedside table, large built-in wardrobes with oak panelled doors.
Bedroom 2- Two single beds (may be pushed together to make another double). Oak wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
The living room has a new bed sofa.

The flat is on the ground floor but there are steps up to it.

Leider nicht das, was wir erwartet haben. Unser Gastgeber hatte uns einen Check-in am frühen Morgen mit Schlüsselbox und Türcode versprochen. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir allerdings über eine Stunde vergeblich versucht, die Tür auf diese Weise zu öffnen. Glücklicherweise erschien dann jemand vom Reinigungsservice, der uns hineinließ. Wie sich herausstellte, hatte er uns die falsche Schlüsselbox und einen falschen Code genannt. Außerdem konnten wir nur die Koffer abstellen, weil der Vermieter unsere frühe Ankunft gar nicht angekündigt hatte. Als wir gegen Mittag endlich hinein konnten, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass nur das Bad und die Schlafzimmer einigermaßen in Ordnung waren, allerdings nicht die Küche: Krümel in den Schubladen, Töpfe, Pfannen und Backbleche mit eingebrannten Essensresten, schmutzige Tassen und Schüsseln. Einer der Stühle war kaputt und unbenutzbar, zwei weitere hatten völlig verschmutzte Sitzpolster. Da fehlte seit langem eine gründliche Reinigung. Außerdem hatte eines der Fenster keine Verriegelung mehr, sodass es von außen zu öffnen gewesen wäre - keine schöne Vorstellung in einer Erdgeschosswohnung! Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Von einer Luxuswohnung war dieser Standard weit entfernt. Mit besserer Kommunikation, neuen Stühlen und brauchbarer Küchenausstattung wäre sie durchaus empfehlenswert.Die Anbindung an Edinburgh, Dunfermline, St. Andrews ist ohne Auto sehr gut, auch der Coop gegenüber ist ein Pluspunkt.

Transport en commun a côté de l hébergement pour se rendre a la capitale petit commerce. C est assé facile si on a quelques notion d Anglais . Nous avons aimé l Ecosse !
