Perfect base for exploring

Wonderful Stay

We passed a lot of time sitting in the lounge together, such a cozy room. The shower was amazing! The beds were comfortable. We absolutely loved the location; it was the perfect place to explore the area. We highly recommend this apartment.

Great property in a great location
Publié le 12 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWould highly recommend this property. There is a very cosy lounge with two comfortable sofas, free view TV with access to Netflix and AmazonPrime. A selection of games and playing cards also provided. The dining kitchen was nice with a generous supply of utensils, crockery and glasses together with numerous cleaning products. The property was quite cold on our arrival but the owner left very easy to follow instructions for getting the heating going. There were large thermostat controlled radiators in each room so it soon warmed up. The bathroom and shower were good as were the bedrooms which had plenty of cosy bed linen and very nicely decorated. The location of the property was great. A short 5-10 min walk to Dunkeld town centre where there are numerous places to eat. The Irvine Arms was especially nice and was also dog friendly with extra seating by the river for nice warm days. There were also ample facilities in Birman. The local village shop selling everything you could imagine and several coffee shops. Although be aware that a lot of shops seem to close on Monday and some on Tuesday as well. We found lovely walks from the property by the river and also a short distance drive.
Communication with the host, Alison, was excellent. She checked that we had arrived ok and whether we needed anything and replied to messages instantly.
It was a shame we could only stay for a couple of days. We didn’t want to leave.
