Tucked into the heart of the Colorado Rockies, Iron Horse Hideaway at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #206) blends cozy mountain charm with modern comforts—your perfect alpine escape. This stylish loft condo offers inviting accommodations for up to four guests, featuring a plush king bed in the sleeping loft and a queen Murphy bed on the main level. The Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course is a private golf course located at Tamarron Resort. As a guest staying at Tamarron, you'll have the privilege of playing the course at the Tamarron rate — a great perk of your stay! Details to book your tee time will be provided in your rental instructions.

After a day of hiking trails or carving down snowy slopes, unwind by the warm glow of the electric fireplace. The thoughtfully updated kitchen is nearly full-sized and includes a spacious refrigerator, dual stovetop burners, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, and coffee maker—everything you need for easy home-cooked meals.

The full bathroom features contemporary finishes and a tub/shower combo for a relaxing soak or quick refresh. Stay connected with Wi-Fi speeds of approximately 100+ Mbps and enjoy access to resort amenities including a heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, and scenic golf course.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at private course at the Tamarron rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

This place is amazing! Very well appointed with everything you need. We’ve been staying in Tamarron for years but had never stayed in the lodge. The bar/restaurant downstairs and the hot tub after long day of skiing was perfect! The only thing I would recommend is maybe some instructions for the electric stove top. We could not get it turn on, but we just used the microwave, so not a big deal. I would definitely recommend this unit!

I would 100% recommend this property to family and friends. I can't wait to return. Missing my cozy condo already!

It's almost full-sized and has everything you need to cook great meals after a day of adventure, from a large fridge and dual stovetop burners to a dishwasher and coffee maker. You can relax by the electric fireplace and enjoy the warm, inviting atmosphere.Also discounted access to the Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course, a wonderful bonus for golf enthusiasts. The resort amenities are a real treat, too, including a heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center.With fast Wi-Fi and a beautifully updated bathroom, this hideaway truly has it all. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy all that the Colorado Rockies have to offer! If you are looking for an alternative stay for the Connie Mack WS, it’s a short 1hr and 15min drive, but offers way more to do in the down time. Highly recommend!!!
