Amazing 4 bedroom home with updated furnishings for the most comfortable stay. Conveniently located less than a half mile from Choctaw Casino, this property is close to restaurants, entertainment and all on 50+ acres. Fire pit, disc golf, corn hole and more with plenty of parking. Kitchen fully stocked for meals and cooking. Nicely decorated throughout the entire house. The master room has a king bed and two of the other rooms have queens. The 4th bedroom has two twins in it. Remodeled bathrooms with luxury walk in showers and amazing interiors. Full size washer and dryer for use. Wireless internet and Direct TV with NFL Sunday Ticket. Large Jenga blocks and bowling set for kids. Extremely large front yard completely fenced 6 feet tall for complete privacy. Covered area in the front yard for staying out of the rain or heat. Gas grill for cooking out on the large back patio right next to a huge fire pit. There are a total of 56 acres to explore. Diverse land with large trees and a creek. We have a corn hole set , 2 official size mobile disc golf sets with discs, Cornhole set to enjoy the outdoors. All of this is located less than a half mile from the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma and an hour from the north Dallas area. The casino host large events with top performers from all over the world. For kids they offer a large arcade room with many different types of games. They also have a bowling alley and a movie theatre at the casino. Durant has a very nice historic down town area with restaurants and bars. The property is also located less than 15 minutes from Lake Texoma which offers excellent fishing opportunities for Striper bass and many other fish. We welcome you out to enjoy our beautiful property with your friends and family.

The kitchen was spacious and equipped, but the pans provided had excessive pealing Teflon nonstick coating. The oven malfunctioned but we let the owner know so it could be repaired before the next guest. We really liked the disco lights in the hallway bathroom. What a fun addition! The property is adjacent to an active train track but it was still pretty quiet.

Great location near the casino and a good property for a decent sized group. Really no complaints. We utilized the front/back yard space and the games that were provided. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Train tracks are close but it really isn’t that bad.

A train passes by just about every hour, the internet never worked and when I would text about it they would not respond in a timely manner. And a squirrel was on the roof and kept us up. Between the train and the squirrel you got little sleep.

This was great for us, we went to a concert . The train wasn't a problem for us. Clean place lots of room loved the outdoor space. The only issue was the tv, in the middle room , we couldn't get to work.

Railhouse Great Value and Convenience

We stayed her for one night as we were in town for a concert at Choctaw on New Year's Eve. The room prices at Choctaw were really high and we aren't gamblers and weren't interested in that mess. We found the home to be clean, extremely convenient and a great value. We only used 2 of the Bedrooms, it actually has 4. While the train tracks are close and active, it didn't bother us. It was a great value for our trip.

Horrible Experience - Zero Sleep & Zero Safety

If you have a train aficionado in the family, rent here. If you value sleep, rest, security and safety - this home is NOT for you. We didn’t notice the reviews about the train until it was too late to cancel. We will never rent here again - it was too expensive to not have restful sleep or feel safe. The first night, 5 trains went through between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM. All LOUD, lasting lasted several minutes because the house is maybe 50 feet from the track. The two other nights, the noise slowed to 4 trains during nighttime hours. We had 5 ladies staying 3 nights and did not feel safe or secure. It’s a big property surrounded by trees with no exterior lighting, outside of one pole light near the barn. No other homes are close by. Nighttime lighting was dependent on the front and back porch lights. There were no reflectors or lights to signal where to turn off the road so missing the entrance is easy. There were simple door locks on the exterior doors. One night we were sitting around talking and heard a male voice outside - since there are zero exterior lights, we had no idea who might be outside the home and it disturbed us greatly. We didn’t want to walk outside to check because - well, no lights. House is well-decorated and smelled clean. Vents, lamps and under the bed were not clean (found a glue rat trap). Master bedroom bed was lumpy and slanted. The pillows and sheets were comfy. The owner does not provide much outside of basics, especially in the kitchen.

Beautiful interior.

Was hard to find, anyone not tolerant of occasional noise (from trains) this us not the place. Outside was ok, but lors of tree limbs and debris. Deck is a little weathered and needs repair. A sidewalk to back door would be good for people who are unsteady on their feet since you have to use back door to get in. Owners are great.

Great place for our annual brothers trip.

My two brothers and I get together every year to gamble and enjoy each other’s company and this was a perfect place (and only 1/2 mile from the casino). It was great that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked even though we aren’t much for cooking. The property owner and his mother were extremely helpful and were quick to get back to me. Had we won at the casino I would have given it 6 stars!

Acceptable stay, but could be better

We only stayed one night on our journey to see the solar eclipse. We enjoyed our trip. The house was easy to find and the house and property were nice. There is an amazing huge wood deck at the back of the house, but the weather was a bit to cold for us to enjoy. There were 6 of us and plenty of bedrooms and nice restrooms. We did hear several trains during the night, but we knew that based on the descriptions. There were a few negatives we hope will be resolved in the future. Some of the lights were very dim. The shower near the twin beds only had hot water and there were no hooks or towel racks. We also had trouble opening one of the doors to the Jack and Jill restroom. Hopefully these will be repaired for the next groups.

Relax Relax Relax

This is not our first time to stay at this property. We love it every time we stay and this time was no exception. This trip was more of a relaxation get away. Yes, even with the train. The train does run all day and night. With that said the train for some reason is relaxing and entertaining. We went to the casino for one night. No, not a winner on that. The next 4 days was about relaxing and went into town to enjoy some restaurants and liquor store. Can't wait till the next time

Nice location near casino

Clean house. We honestly were only here to sleep after a concert at the casino. Beds were comfy. A little bit of a challenge finding it on waze but google maps led us right to it. Not a fault of the property, obviously. Just as a call out. We did hear the trains all night and half the group used the provided ear plugs and the other half didn't but that was a preference by each person. Would definitely stay here again.

Getaway with Grandkids

This was the second time I have stayed here. My daughter rented the first time. Like it so much had to rent again. It is perfect size inside for kids to play and adults to relax. Not to far from stores and casino. The ages range from 11 months to 65. There is a train that does run. I know during the day it was entertaining for my grandson who is 2. It does run at night it really didn’t bother me. Just depends on what kind of sleeper you are. We really enjoyed ourselves and would rent again.
