Sitting on 2 beautiful green acres on the shores of Ironton Cove rests an early 1900s immaculately furnished farm house offering four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Sleeps 10.

It's like taking a step back in time. At the foot of the historic Ironton Ferry and only seven miles from Boyne City, the location is perfect. Crossing the Ironton Ferry, downtown Charlevoix is 5 miles away, and only 3 miles from Northern Michigans premiere wedding destination venue, Castle Farms. Across the narrows from your beach is the Landings Restaurant, Lake Charlevoix's premier lakefront dining. Enjoy a casual round of golf at Ye Nyne Olde Holes Golf Club just down the road. Perfect location for winter vacationers as well, with Boyne Mountain Ski Resort only a 15 minute drive. The property also conducive for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobilers, with access to the lake as well as the great big front and back yard the farm house for your own recreational use. Perfect for all four seasons; from the hot summer days lounging on the sun deck, to the crisp Autumn afternoons during color tour, to the majestic winter landscape that northern Michigan has to offer. Family Vacation

Great space and location for family vacation. We brought bikes and a canoe and were familiar with the area from multiple family camping trips. We love the outdoors and the location on the water allowed us to go on sunrise paddles have a couple lakeside campfire hot dog roasts and s'mores. Nate was awesome and so responsive before and during the trip! He provided firewood and drinking water, and lots of great advice about things to do including local resources when we had a car issue. The free pedestrian ferry ride to the lakeside restaurant was a nice perk. We have several runners in the family and since the road dead ends at the ferry, the roads felt very safe for running. The house had ample space for our group, and we cooked a few meals in the well equipped kitchen.

This house had cute charm, a lot of extra fun activities to keep us busy, in the volleyball area was an awesome bonus. We had a great time and the owner is very nice with good communication.

Amazing Stay

We absolutely loved this property. The location was perfect. We really enjoyed the yard (badminton, volleyball and croquet). The fire pit down on Lake Charlevoix was beautiful.

Beautiful big house

Beautiful big house, spotless clean, everything you might need can be found. Property and house are extremely well taken care of. Nice place on the beach with afternoon sun and dock, fireplace at the beach and at the house. Volleyball net, lots of games.

Cool spot with lots of amenities. Beach is a little rocky so not ideal for small children, but there’s a great public park with sandy beach and shallow water just a few minutes down the road. Nate was great!

Charlevoix the Beautiful

Our family rented this home so we could go to a Friday Night Wedding. What a wonderful home to stay at. Even though we were unable to use all of the outside facilities available to us due to the fact it rained the entire weekend. Family members enjoyed it so much they asked when can we come back?

Charming Charlevoix

The farm house was super clean with lots of room for a couple of families. The backyard is huge , we played badminton and back yard cricket . Nate is a super host , very informative and quick to respond with any need . The private beach and dock area was perfect for swimming and very relaxing . I would highly recommend this farmhouse to anyone , families with young children or teenagers , everything is supplied ! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful piece of the world with us!

Great Experience and Location

Nate was a great host - quick response time and considerate! He brought a generous amount of firewood out for us to the firepit. Farmhouse was charming, welcoming and well appointed. A great place for a group of friends to gather!! Loved the ferry access and the nearby Landing restuarant!! Would definitely stay again.

Great location, attentive owner/manager

Check-in was nice and simple. Nate, the owner, was there to greet us and give us tips about the house and property to make our stay better. There were plenty of beds and towels and Nate brought firewood to the beach for our fire pit. Nate had a net set up in the back yard for volleyball and bad mitten. The beach setup is great with a nice deck, chairs, and lounges. The dock and mooring ball were super convenient for our boat use. Thanks for everything Nate!

It was a cute old farm house with plenty of beds and wonderful views.

We came to town for a wedding at Castle farms which was just down the road with a short ferry ride. House was well equipped with most things we needed. Big yard with a nice beach access down across the street. We enjoyed the deer that seemed to be always around enjoying the apples that where falling from the trees in the yard. My kids loved the area and house, they where sad to leave. It was a very charming old farm house and peaceful area.

Great stay!

This house is in a great location, with a lot of yard space and a great dock setup just across the street. Quick ferry ride right next door to a fun restaurant on the other side of the water and it's a great lake. Property owner was very attentive and helpful throughout our trip. The lack of A/C upstairs proved a bit difficult due to a few humid nights - would be helpful just to get some window units. Otherwise, great stay and highly recommend it. Thanks for everything!

Space to Roam

The property was great and Nate was the best host. Our family had a lot of fun playing in the yard, sitting on the porch and beach deck. We did realize we needed to purchase drinking water as the home’s water I am guessing was high in iron. We enjoyed being able to catch the ferry so easily.

Fun week on the lake

We had a great time. The house is an older farm house, but it had everything we needed. The property is large with a lot of green space, and the access to the water is very nice. The only issue is that the lake is across the road, which can be lined up with cars parked and waiting for a ferry, but it didn’t interfere with our stay too much. We brought our boat and this location was perfect access point to explore everything Lake Charlevoix has to offer.
