This second floor space comes fully furnished with a full size bed, air conditioner, ceiling fan, kitchenette with nespresso machine and toaster oven, living area and private balcony with water views, and washer dryer. 2 bikes are available to take advantage of the surroundings. Take a ride into Greenport to have brunch in Greenport or pedal past the Lavender field down the road to marvel at the sea of purple. Two beaches are within walking distance and beach chairs are available for use. If you are looking for a relaxing summer weekend in the North Fork, this is the place for you.

A Great Stay

We had a wonderful week in East Marion at JoAnn’s place. The room is beautiful and quiet and away from the main part of the house. Check in and out was effortless and JoAnn was very accommodating to our needs. We may be back next year.

Superb Stay

The place is a well-appointed, hideen treasure in the North Fork. My wife and I used it as a getaway from the city and absolutely loved it. The area has got a great mix of activities and peace & quiet, allowing us to design our days. Wineries, golf course, hiking trails complemented with a private beach and hammock in the garden. Joann is a wonderful and kind host. She provided all necessary essentials during our stay, and was around whenever we needed any assistance. We hope to be back soon!

Quaint and romantic apartment. Very clean and comfortable!

My husband and I stayed here for one night for our anniversary and loved our stay. Joann was very nice and reachable the entire stay. The apartment is above the garage of her home but it has it’s own entrance and felt private. The property is on a quiet peaceful road close to the water and walkable to beaches. You can see the water from the balcony. It’s a very short car ride or possible bike ride into town and the kontokosta winery. She provided bikes, beach chairs and towels. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Keep in mind the apartment doesn’t have a full kitchen, felt more similar to staying in a hotel or bed and breakfast.

Clean, pretty, charming

A lovely space that’s been thoughtfully dressed up and stocked for guests staying a night or two. The coffee and milk much appreciated. It’s important to note that the beautifully designed studio is above the garage to the family’s home on a very charming community of family homes. It’s not on the waterfront itself but behind the bigger home above the garage. There is also no key or lockable-at-night latch on the entrance so the door is left open at night. We didn’t feel we had proper privacy or a sense of seclusion that we were anticipating given the pictures. I think the above is all fine if we knew upfront so we could choose it. So could have been communicated in the post before booking. Otherwise it was a pleasant and clean place thank you.

Serene and stylish space for one or two!

This beautiful, clean studio apartment was a perfect getaway. Nicely renovated space, peaceful setting in a quiet neighborhood, but easy access to private beaches and other North Fork spots like Greenport and Orient. We enjoyed biking to get breakfast (past lavender fields!) and to the beach. Joann really goes above and beyond and is a great host.

Perfect spot for two!

We loved everything about this place. Clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Very close to a private beach, short drive to Greenport and wineries. We happened to meet Joann and visit her shop (both are lovely.) Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful secret far from the noise

This charming studio is roomy, light-filled and well decorated. Joann provides a variety of amenities, from welcome snacks to all toiletries and beach chairs and towels. The location -- down a leafy side street with large homes and literally 3 minutes from a beach -- is a huge plus. It's all very charming and private: we never saw or heard her or anyone else. We hope to return soon.

Relaxing getaway

Short walk to two private beaches, bicycles available for use, secluded street, close proximity to the Lavender Fields. 45 min bicycle ride to Orient Point, or a third of that or less to Greenport. The perfect rental for a relaxing getaway. Joann is a wonderful host!

The perfect little getaway

I needed a weekend to crank out some work and have a little quiet time, and this was the perfect spot for both. I LOVED the apartment—it was so beautiful, and Jo Ann was such a wonderful hostess. There were signs pointing me to the right door and fresh cookies and Nespresso pods on the counter on arrival. The beach is a short walk down the street, and beach towels and chairs in the closet. I used her bicycle several times: to hit the farm stand and deli (Fork & Anchor) for food on the main road, and to explore the beautiful neighborhood. Not to mention, as a design nerd, the dĂ©cor is just perfect. All-in-all, it was a lovely weekend and I hope to visit again soon.
