Room 147 had a very nasty smell in the bathroom. Not sure if it was the end of run for sewage waste. It was extremely unpleasant. Notified reception. They said they would inform housekeeping.

Lovely seafront hotel, well maintained.

Lovely hotel and some characterful communal areas and relaxing lounges. Clean and spacious rooms. Great location. Only issue was a loud fan noise coming from the kitchen - were told it would be switched off by 9pm but it wasn't - but after a follow up call it was switched off at 9:30pm.

The restaurant was lovely and they had a great chef with imaginative ideas. We loved our evening meal at a reasonable price. Several lounge areas and a bar to sit quietly with a drink and a book.very good value hotel. Thankyou.

The executive sea view room is spacious with huge windows and a great view of the seafront. Fantastic to just cross the road to go for a swim. Well located for all the town's facilities and walking distance from the train station. Good parking deal at 2.35 per day. Downside was the bathroom is very small, and gets stiflingly hot, and has no space to put your toiletries
